Marvis Black Forest Toothpaste, 75ml, Sensational Chocolate and Cherry Flavoured Toothpaste Helps Remove Plaque with Long-Lasting Freshness

My second flavour I've tried in Marvis and it's good ! Exactly what it says. There is another reason you should buy this though, and that is the quality. Before Marvis, toothpaste was toothpaste, I stuck to big brands and never considered that toothpaste could have a luxury counterpart, that is until I changed to Marvis. The texture, the feel, the thickness and creamy sensation is properly luxurious. One you have experienced a tube of Marvis, you will find it very difficult to go back to those other well known brands, quite simply Marvis is such a nice experience you look forwards to it, almost like a treat! It is a fluoride toothpaste, so that's covered and means you can use this to replace your previous brand. Freshness / effectiveness - all gets a tick, because it's a treat to use it, you inevitably brush for longer, that means your doing an improved job than previously. Whitening - Well, don't they all make claims? I suppose it depends on how much tea, coffee, red wine you drink or if you smoke, I think the effectiveness of all whitening toothpaste is the user, this is no different to the brands. Cost - Look, a big brand in fancy packaging will cost you upwards of £10 a tube, but it won't give you the same "Experience" as Marvis will. Therefore I think its worth the price. It is a little bit of personal luxury and that is worth a premium.

Not only is it great tasting it does a good job of cleaning your teeth too and it's not very abrasive either . Highly recommend. Got a bonus with it too my girlfriend friend loves the taste and the fresh breath smell so I get lots more kisses. I should thank my dentist who recommended this product after I told him I had problems finds a suitable toothpaste as most mints makes me gag .

I switched back to Marvis after many years, a) for the taste and b) for the longer lasting freshness. What I had forgotten is the deep clean you get from this brand. I can't always face my electric toothbrush, but using this with a well-designed manual toothbrush gives me a really thorough clean that lasts. The flavours are all suitably subtle as an additional note to mint.

I purchased the black forest version of this, as I really don't like mint that much. I was excited to finally find an adult Toothpaste that wasn't mint! Spoiler alert. It's mint. Mint with a hint of black cherry. You know when you see something out of the corner of your eye but you try to look directly at it and it vanishes? That's what the flavour of this is like. There's a faint nudge to black cherry - you know it's there, but if you try and focus on that taste, it vanishes. As a Toothpaste, it's OK. Nothing to write home about, but not terrible. I'll use it up then probably go back to my usual paste. It's too expensive to keep using it when it's still so minty. On the plus side, mine did come with a seal on the tube.
