Is this cup dishwasher and microwave safe?

Hello, GRP29. I can only answer a half of your question. Yes, this cup is microwave safe. I usually re-heat tea in it (by microwaving it), to keep the tea really warm. However, I have not washed it in a dishwasher. I always hand-wash it.

If you microwave water in it, does the cup become insanely hot to the touch? So ceramics do, some don't, just curious.

No, it doesn't get any hotter than any other ceramic mug when microwaved. The ceramic itself doesn't get got, just the normal heat transfer of the hot liquid inside. Take care removing it from the microwave since it doesn't have a handle.

How much liquid does this hold?
