Review: Excellent value for money - This is a cracking mandolin. Nice heavy body with double binding. Neck was straight, not dodgy frets. Required a bit of a set up, but, realistically that's more or less standard with most musical instruments and only took me maybe 10 minutes. I'd highly recommend this, it's better quality than you'd expect. Amplified it sounds very full and clear. I absolutely love it ## Features - Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - 20F Mandolin - Versatile little 2 pickup - Basswood body - Rosewood fingerboard ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073P9F3QP | | Back Material Type | Basswood | | Back material type | Basswood | | Best Sellers Rank | 138,182 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 93 in Mandolins (Musical Instruments & DJ) | | Brand | MUSOO | | Brand Name | MUSOO | | Colour | sunburst | | Customer Reviews | 3.0 out of 5 stars 4 Reviews | | Instrument | Mandolin | | Item Dimensions | 83 x 34 x 11 centimetres | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 83 x 34 x 11 centimetres | | Model Number | RR342 | | Operation Mode | Electric | | Size | 25.3" inch | | Top Material Type | Maple | | Top material type | Maple | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MUSOO - **Size:** 25.3" inch - **Colour:** sunburst - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 83 x 34 x 11 centimetres - **Top material type:** Maple - **Back material type:** Basswood - **Instrument:** Mandolin - **Operation mode:** Electric ## Images ![Musoo Brand Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lPd7k8bLL.jpg) ![Musoo Brand Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kYX7gyFZL.jpg) ![Musoo Brand Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Rl-o3APcL.jpg) ![Musoo Brand Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61yvMcIqd5L.jpg) ![Musoo Brand Mandocaster Electric Mandolin - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61DPpjbGLkL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Question: is the "scale"-length of this electric_mandolin really 15.3_inches, rather than the "standard" 13.75-to-14_inches ??.** A: No, that must be a misprint. It’s standard scale (ie, appx 14”). Warning: the tuners suck. Mine featured one that was DOA. And as you might imagine the bridge PUP can be icepicky—but just turn down the tone. Otherwise a fun little instrument. **Q: Has anyone that has bought this recently gotten a good one?** A: Totally unplayable when I got it !! Haven’t inquired about anybody else ! Ya if you don’t know how to do a fret level and cut a new nut and total set up you should leave this one alone!!! But for the money it was a fun project! **Q: I am left hand. do you have this model but lefty?** A: Hi No problem. Pls extra USD25 in left hand Susan **Q: Musooguitars: please measure the nut nut=point of string contact at top of fretboard, the white piece right below headstock. what is width?** A: I can’t answer that I sent my purchase back to musooguitars as it had a fret placement problem that precluded it from going in tune also my hand s were too big for the neck ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice Mandolin but someone should've checked it before sending. *by A***H on 10 January 2022* My mandolin came without a trustrod cover and their were no screw holes for the cover even if I had the cover. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value for money *by J***P on 28 December 2021* This is a cracking mandolin.
