Package *** Installation instruction The package contains the following items A pair of BTT adapters from BestTechTool Apple watch adapters or watch spring bars Watch spring bar tool or screwdrivers for Garmin watches So, you can easily change your watch band with Leatherman Tread OR Tread LT strap! For installation follow these steps Use the pin removal tool to remove the spring bars from your watch band. In the box, there are two pairs of spring bars. The length of one pair is 1mm smaller than the other pair. It is recommended that you compare the length of the spring bars with the original spring bars of your watch and choose the one that best fits your watch. Save the extra pair for future. Note : If you bought BTT adapters for Apple watch , there is a pair of Apple watch adapters. Put the selected spring bars in BTT adapters. Both BTT adapters are identical. Use the pin tool to install BTT adapters to your watch. (Don’t connect your Leatherman Tread to the adapters before you attach the adapters to the watch.) Size your Leatherman Tread / Tread LT based on your wrist and size of watch and adapters. Remove extra links from Tread. Connect your Tread / Tread LT to the adapters with the original screws of Tread. Important points Attach the BTT adapters to your watch before you connect them to Leatherman Tread/Tread LT. For Apple watch: the side of the connector with three black parts is for the face of Apple watch and the side with two black parts is for the back of Apple watch. The adaptors work great, and matches the Tread color and material wise perfectly. I had an issue with my initial set because one of the screw holes on the adaptor wasn't tapped quite correctly, and the screw to attach the Tread wouldn't solidly screw in. Dave with their customer service was on point. Lightning quick replies, and had me a new adaptor to replace the faulty one in the mail the next day. You literally cannot ask for more from a seller with Amazon. Buy from this group with confidence!

This is a great product. It is well made of good material. I was surprised how heavy it was, which is a good thing since it shows that it is made of solid metal. Also, the customer service is great! The BTT really stands behind their products and works hard to make sure the customer is satisfied. They are easy to get ahold of and very responsive to email questions.

Love it! Price was a little off-putting at first ...
Love it! Price was a little off-putting at first but cannot be happier after receipt and installation. The Tread is a great bracelet but not that practical to wear daily. Now I use it everyday as my favorite Apple watch band. If you have at Tread you need this.

Considering it’s a $180 band and $300 watch having it drop at the wrong time is not good at all
After some time of using this it has become apparent that the pin holes are small and since there is a opening at both sides, the band can slide and pry the pin out. Considering it’s a $180 band and $300 watch having it drop at the wrong time is not good at all! I have tried many many different different pins, but just happened for the last time!

Too Expensive and Does Not Fit quite right
Thickness question is nonsensical. The fit is not quite right and the cost... yeah, it's a bit way steeper cost than their competitors. The quality of materials seems to be good, though. And the presentation in the box is great!

Works great, looks like a match. Holds up as well as the original tread.
Been using this for 3 months and no issues with the finish. Lost 20+ lbs with my new Garmin Fenix 5X plus monitoring my calories. I like the metal bands over the silicone ones that were more elastic. I have two treads -- imperial on my left hand with my watch for my Hoyt bow and metric on my right hand for my bike related stuff.

Great customer service
This is great product and their customer service is outstanding. initially thought their product was defective as it wouldn’t fit two “leatherman” I purchased. Turns out those “leathermans” were counterfeit as they correctly identified. Once I bought directly from leatherman, the product fit perfectly. EXCELLENT customer service.

Take your chances
Great as a bracelet but if you have to have a snug fit for a garmin sport watch gps with wrist heart monitor then it will be by luck if it works for you. I took out links with no problem but it's rather too small or not quite small enough. But it's cool and I wear it on the other wrist as a bracelet.
