DecoArt DASK267 Americana Gloss Enamels Trend Sample Pack

Every now and then (not often) I get little "crafty" ideas and this time I decided I wanted something more unique for my newly redone home office to hold pens and other bits. I decided to try painting some terracotta pots to complement the new decor. It actually turned out pretty good (I'm not much of a painter really but at least they're unique)! These paints went on beautifully and the colors were very true with very good glossy coverage. Will buy again, the next time i have a "crafty" idea.

I use these for Gelli prints and love the colors. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I'm hardly a professional acrylic artist, but for my use with mono/gel printing, they work well and the color is very rich and vibrant.

I'm frustrated with these paints. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, but when painting on clear jars I have to work very hard to get an opaque finish. It's shocking how thin the enamel goes down, and how easily it's then taken away with the brushwork. I must apply five coats of enamel, and even with that some of the colors are not quite opaque. I've tried shaking them, mixing them and using a couple different brushes, but my experiences have been poor. If I have to spend this much time working with a medium it detracts terribly from any creative effort that might have happened. A few other reviews spoke of getting opaque finishes so perhaps it's the fact that I'm applying these enamel paints to clear jars, attempting to paint one-inch bands of color. Or maybe I got a run that's just too thin.

Most of the colors worked very well and were opaque. My favorite color - lime- was not but a few coats fixed that. I used these to paint on glass plates that became the favors at my daughter's tea party. They were fun to use and worked well. We'll see how long they last, even with baking. They were glossy, but since I painted on the bottom of the plates (for food safety), I lost the glossy effect.

Love these paints - colors are bright easy to use and best of all easy to clean up. Love the way it covers and looks once applied on an item. I recommend this item strongly. Americana paints are the very best and all I use on projects.

I love these paints. I use them to paint wine glasses and they're perfect. I've noticed that the green paint is quite a bit thinner, but it might just be this bottle.Otherwise, fantastic spring colors!

I placed my order for the colors pictured in this photo, just the colors I was looking for and needed.The colors are Bright Yellow, Citron Green, Bright Orange, Calypso Blue, Lavender and Razzle Berry.I received my order and the only color I received that was correct and shown in the picture was the Lavender. I contacted the seller and let him know and he said he would send me out the correct colors shown in the picture and a few extra, that was great so I thought! I received the so called correct colors he said he would send and again but worse, not even one of the colors was correct as shown in the picture. I was sent most of the same incorrect colors he had already sent the first time. I still don't have the correct colors I need for my event project and time is clicking down. Don't waste your time and money, trust me.

Followed the directions to a TEE, and it didn't work at all. Trying to paint on ceramic but as soon as I pulled off the stencil, the paint came right off
