Nice bristles that are soft so they don't scratch but still enough to scrub. I recommend this product.

Having been interested in making my own sculpting wax and modelling clay for some time, and most recipes containing both paraffin wax and microcrystaline wax, I thought this might work for me. It is, however, far from ideal. I believe it is a combination of a relatively hard paraffin wax and a hard microcrystaline wax. The result is a wax that cannot be hand formed (flaky and crumbly) and that is mechanically fairly similar to pure paraffin wax with the exception that when it cracks it forms a fine crazing pattern; this is ideal for batik but poor for making modelling waxes. I have, however, been able to use it in modelling wax recipes by considering it to be 90% regular paraffin wax and 10% soft microcrystaline wax. For use in castable, carving wax recipes it is fairly usable(and carves reasonably well) but is comparatively fragile and probably needs some minor modifications.In short: This wax probably works very nicely for batik but is not a very good choice for use in sculpting waxes
