Fellowes 48121 Standard Foot Rest, Graphite

First of all, this is the perfect foot rest for me. On the highest setting it helps me remember to sit up straight and allows me to keep my chair as high as I like it. I love it. Second, I don't understand some of the negative reviews. One said it's not smooth, but mine is. Some have said it's cheap, but you chose to buy a $15 dollar product. It is exactly what you pay for and what you paid for is good. It's a basic level product with no promises otherwise. Third, some have complained it doesn't stay at the level you want it. In the description it is stated it's on a free floating platform. This is one of the reasons I bought it! I had one that didn't tilt at all and I would tilt it with my feet without realizing it so this one is perfect for mt. If I don't want it to move every once in a while I can shove a tennis ball or something under it since I chose to buy one that moves. Fourth, some said it broke after a few months. I can't help but wonder how much pressure these people are putting on it. One person said it should be able to take some pressure but as I'm sitting here typing this I'm paying attention to the amount of pressure I'm applying and it's just not that much. If you're putting enough weight on it to break it then you're using it wrong. Most of your weight should be carried by your chair. I'm a happy customer and assuming I use it properly, I expect it to last a long time.

I really love this foot rest. This is the 3rd one that I have ordered. I have used the other two in different offices that I have worked at. The newest one I ordered was for my home office. I have used nicer and more expensive footrest, but I do not notice a huge difference to warrant spending that much extra money. The footrest is adjustable, and has two height positions when parallel to the ground it is 3 1/4 inch, at the highest tip is is 4 1/2 inches. The footrest is manually adjusted, it can moves back and forth but does not slip out of place. The footrest is very light and can be taken with you, because it does come in two pieces. I am 4' 11" and I feel that the height works well for me. It makes sitting at my desk more comfortable. I enjoy the textured surface (only at home) it helps massage the soles of my feet. I enjoy that it tilts back and forth because it gives my feet something to do. The footrest is easy to use and no fills. It is a great price and made out of recycled material. I recommend this to anyone looking for added comfort while working at a desk.

I've owned this model for the last several years. The first two I owned lasted about a year each. The most recent one broke in a month - the hooks that attach the top to the bottom snapped off (both of them). That's how they all died, but this last one happened much faster. So I guess it depends on what you get. As to the footrest itself, there are two different heights, so instead of adjusting the footrest height, I have to adjust my chair to it. I like the bumps on top, but the plastic is still just hard plastic. The footrest itself does not stay in place - it just slides along the groove. I didn't even know you could lock it in place until I bought a different model at a higher price (to replace the last Fellowes). I much prefer my new, non-Fellowes footrest, and will not be going back. However, for the price I was happy with the Fellowes Standard Foot Rest. It was only because the last one broke after only a month that I branched out to more expensive models.

I guess it technically does what it is designed to do. It feels very cheap and I did eventually break off the tabs that hold the foot rest to the base. I would just recommend buying a chair that goes to the height that you need and skip buying a foot rest.

I am usually pretty effusive in my reviews on Amazon, but I can't sing the praises of this footrest. It is adjustable, yes, but it cannot be locked into one position, which I only discovered after it had arrived. And since I wanted this to place a foot pedal on and didn't want to have to chase that foot pedal as it rocked back and forth on the foot rest... well, this was a mighty big fail. I had to improvise a way to lock it in position and was pleased that I could do that, but then those "foot massage" bumps on it were AWFUL and painful and would leave depressions in my feet. Ouch. So I had to tape heavy corrugated cardboard onto the foot rest to soften those bumps all over it, and when that didn't do the trick enough, I took a length of that spongy shelf liner and put several layers of that onto this footrest. Finally, it didn't dig into my feet. And then I had to secure it to the carpet by blocking it off with spacers between it and the wall, which kept it stationery because without spacers it slid, even on carpeting. I am only detailing all the modifying I had to do, Dear Reader, because if you're like me and was looking for a foot rest that was, you know, RESTFUL and not a big pain to use, then you might want to bypass this one and buy something else.

Lost mine when I moved. I like it so much I bought another. Lightweight, can exercise legs, and the with the bumps rub the soles of your feet.

Does the job and works , but cheap plastic

Da ich bei längerem Sitzen am Schreibtisch Rückenschmerzen bekomme, wollte ich ausprobieren, ob die Verwendung einer Fußstütze hilft. Diese Fußstütze ist stabil, höhenverstellbar und die nach vorn und hinten frei bewegliche Plattform bietet die Möglichkeit die Füße und Beine zu bewegen und zu entlasten. Das Sitzen ist sehr viel angenehmer bzgl. der Füße, Beine und des Rückens. Ich hatte verschiedene Modelle zur Auswahl bestellt, diese waren meist schwerer und/oder extrem unhandlich und kein anderes hatte diese frei bewegliche Fußauflage.

Ho ancora qui sotto i miei piedi questo comodo supporto che aiuta la mia difficile circolazione venosa durante le tante ore che passo seduta al computer. Con i pallini in rilevo massaggia la pianta del piede, la regolazione avviene senza problemi direttamente da seduti, essendo mobile. E' facilmente smontabile e lavabile (basta passarlo sotto l'acqua per togliere la polvere). Per ovviare al rumore che fa quando sbatte la plastica a terra basta mettere qualche feltrino di quelli utilizzati sotto le gambe delle sedie e il problema è risolto.

Es cómodo y hace bien su función,además sirve para darle masajes en la planta de los pies y te relaja. Muy buen producto🤗
