Works well with my hair!
This leave-in hair crème has become my go-to for frizz control and smooth styling. The peppermint scent is invigorating, and the formula, rich in organic jojoba, hemp, and coconut oils, delivers shine and manageability—without any synthetic ingredients. It works beautifully for light styling and adds a soft hold that lasts all day. Truly a natural, effective pick-me-up for my hair!

EXCELLENT FOR CURLY FRIZZY HAIR
I first dipped my feet in to Dr Bronners brand with the bar soap & liqiud soap. Being very pleased with both I decided to give the styling creme. My hair is thick, frizzy and curly and have been experiencing dry skin/hair as I get closer to 50. I find the lavender scent to be a bit strong at first but keep in mind I don't like lavender), however, the scent does not longer on my hair OR I would not have left 5 stars. The consistency is what I would describe as a "runny or thin cream", which I feel is appropriate because of the oils. If it were heavier, it would go on too thick and leave hair greasy (and also not be as economical). I find I do not need nearly as much of this product as I do with other products to achieve the same effect. It leaves my fair very soft. I apply ONLY on wet hair (applying on dry would make look greasy). I DO NOT apply anywhere near my scalp as my scalp is oily and my mid shaft and ends are dry. I apply to the ends first, using the most there, then to the midshaft. I suggest experimenting until you find the amount that works best for you. I air dry as using a dryer no matter the product I use causes me frizz. As my hair dries I am left with I scented soft hair and no frizz. Did I mention it's all natural? I didn't purchase it for that reason, but it's nice to know. I tried hundreds of other creams, oils, balms, mousse, serums and gels with no other product I would rate a 5!

Good hair gel, no scent
This seems like an effective enough hair gel. Certainly no smell. From another reviewer, if you read down, impressive credentials of societal usefulness, just one of which is the CEO to entry level ratio of five to one, even better than Ben and Jerry’s.

Initial thoughts for 3a curls
I used the peppermint scented hair cream for the first time last night, diffused, and finished with the Honeybee Gardens herbal mint alcohol free hairspray, which is amazing. I have dense, curly, color-treated hair, about a 3a, with mixed coarseness and thickness. My hair is highly porous. My favorite product that works best on my hair is Tigi Smalltalk, but the scent is SO strong and sometimes gives me a headache, so I searched for something more natural. I was hesitant about this hair cream bc it contains xanthan gum, which ALWAYS produces dust in my hair. Like, when I shake my curls out after diffusing, there is a cloud of dust flying around my head. 😑 But I love Dr Bronner’s products, and got a bottle of this on sale for $7.50, so figured, why not give it a try. Other things to note: my hair cannot tolerate glycerin, aloe, or any other true humectant. Immediate frizz and/or flash drying. Initial thoughts: this cream has almost zero slip. This did bother me and disappoint me, but as I worked the product into my hair, I realized it was forming curl clumps pretty much on its own! I do the rake and shake method, which I find fastest, and then finger curl a few wonky curls as necessary. My wet results looked really good. I then diffused and it took FOREVER. Typically I can diffuse in about 30 minutes to just about 100% dry, but it took considerably longer with this product. Not sure why, but I’ll continue to experiment. Usually I microplop after styling, but my hair felt pretty dry at that point with this cream, so I didn’t think it was necessary, but it probably was. With the nearly non-existent slip in this product, my hair did not feel wet. I will say that in spite of that, it did NOT flash dry my hair. I’ve never used any other product like this, and I’ve used a lot! Dry results came out great, and then I finished with hairspray. In hindsight I used too much, bc my hair was a bit crunchy. But that was not from the cream. The cream itself helped beautiful curls form and the hold was medium. Just the way I like it. My hair feels ever so slightly oily and weighed down today so I probably used too much. It’s very easy to use too much product when there’s no slip, because you think by adding more you’ll get that feeling. So next time I’ll use less. That said, I did not use nearly as much of this product overall as I do with the Tigi Smalltalk, so while the bottle is on the small side, it should last a month or so (I wash 2-3 times a week). Scent is incredibly mild which I appreciate. Consistently is runnier than I expected, but that’s nice because it emulsifies in the hands nicely and distributes evenly with ease. I gave it 4 stars bc the price is a lot for the size you get (not on sale), and I do wish the product had more slip. But my curls look great and very shiny. I think that if you can grab a bottle on sale it’s worth trying out. Short ingredient list and nothing harmful. Very unique ingredients. Happy customer. Will continue to purchase.

Works great, clean ingredients
This is great! My daughter and I use it as a leave in conditioner every day. It also works great to hold for hair styles though! I use extra pumps in my daughter's hair when it's dry to do braids and other hair do's. It holds well all day. She has frizzy slightly curly hair. If you see in my photo, you wouldn't be able to tell at all! I think I love the most that is clean, no chemicals for my kiddo!

Minus 5 star. Is a mess.
If I could give it minus 5 stars, I would. This product is a total mess. I wanted to like it and even tried it twice, but my hair ended up looking more oily and dirtier than before I washed it. I had to wash it again because it stayed stuck together and felt glued in clumps.

Great product, but the peppermint scent isn't as good as the lavender one.
Bronner's style creme is my preferred hair product. it's the only stuff that I can leave in as long as I want and my hair only feels smoother and healthier for it. As a guy, I thought the Peppermint scent would be better than Lavender, but after trying both, I am probably not going to finish the bottle of peppermint stuff. The scent is okay when it's fresh, if not a little strong/sweet for my likes, but hours later towards the end of the day, the scent deteriorates into something I do not like at all. It's still faintly minty, but a dingier version of the original scent. I will continue using Bronner's Hair Style Creme in the future because it is the absolute best product that I have found for my hair and it's conveniently made by the same wonderful company who makes all the soaps I use around the house for washing and cleaning. The only change is that I will be sticking with the lavender one until a new scent to try comes along. Hopefully something with more of a fresh outdoors scent this time, because the lavender one is a bit flowery for my tastes. Mild and pleasant all throughout the day though.
