Santa Barbara Design Studio Wood Serving Bowl, Hand Carved Paulownia Wood Fruit Bowl/Decor, 11.5" Large, Natural

I’ve bought several Santa Barbara Design Studio pieces over the years but this one genuinely surprised me. The wood grain is so much more beautiful in person — swirling and organic in a way the photos just don’t capture. I added a small plant, a mercury glass candle and a tiny framed photo next to it and honestly it looked like something out of a design magazine. That’s the kind of bowl this is — it just makes everything around it look more intentional. The 11.5” size is generous without taking over a space and it’s surprisingly lightweight which I love because I move things around constantly when I’m refreshing my décor. One thing worth knowing — paulownia wood isn’t meant for everyday kitchen use. I keep mine purely for styling and that’s where it shines. A few reviews mention cracking so I’d keep it away from direct sun and extreme temperature changes just to be safe. At $22 I’ve paid a lot more for pieces that didn’t look half this good. If you love natural organic styling this is a really easy yes.

Love this bowl! I purchased for my entry table to be a catch-all. It's a great size and the material is perfect for daily use. It's a great shade that would go with any style.

This is a gorgeous bowl, and I'm so delighted to have it! It took a little while to get here, but arrived nicely packaged, and was well worth the wait. The size is large, but not too large. The color is lovely and reminds me of drift wood. I have provided a photo with my hand (which isn't too large) to help scale the size. The bowl was sanded nicely to make it pretty soft, and it holds quite a bit. I'm going to change out my decor inside from time to time, but to start I'm holding natural decorative balls, crystal wands, crystallized rocks, and stones that I've collected from all over the country including the Great Smokey Mountains, rivers in Alaska, Montana, and Hawaii, and on the desertess landscapes of Arizona. I'm happy to have a place to display a tiny portion of my collection. I will likely buy another bowl, to display shells that my family has amassed since moving to Florida two and a quarter years ago. I highly recommend these bowls!

I bought this to place my candles on. Perfect combination. Great quality and it perfect for decor

Love it but why would they put 2 stickers on the bottom that are impossible to get off. Thankfully no one will see but just cheapens the look.
