My teenagers were constantly “borrowing” my charger cords and leaving them at places. Expensive habit on my end. This lock socket charger is more than a statement piece. It’s literally a deterrent. Buy it.

Works great as described and will stop people from taking your charger

Well, that's an innovative product for those who have gotten tired of having their charging bricks pilfered by family or housemates. It just ties your charging brick to the wall so that it doesn't walk off and disappear into thin air. For those living in a household where chargers seem to disappear, this is a pretty good solution-so one doesn't frequently have to replace them, or argue about missing ones. It's a bit gimmicky because it doesn't serve much other purpose than stopping your own people from borrowing or making off with something within the confines of your home. In the first instance, you're going to have to undo the electrical socket in order to fit this lock-it's very fiddly work. Not a plug-and-play product, it is better for permanent set-ups where one does not have to think about moving the charger from here to there. Designed to be installed into your home's outlets, it has no real functionality outside of that setting. This would mean this may not be ideal for those who are in search of either something portable or that can be applied in shared space settings, such as offices or cafes. That said, if you don't quite trust your friends, family, or housemates not to take your charging bricks, this may be something to consider. It does what it claims-locks the charger in place-but it is a very specific and somewhat inconvenient solution to a problem that not everyone may have. For the price and the effort involved, you may want to weigh how badly you need your charger to stay put before committing to this product. Overall, 25$ is too expensive.

Seems like a good idea. I bought it to secure the iPad usb c charger for my mother's iPad. She's in a nursing home and I wanted to secure the charger. The smaller iPhone charger works fine with this but the iPad charger is too big. There is a model for the iPad charger as well, and I've recently ordered it. Will see if that works out.

Kept my charger safe from my thieving kids!

The end of cord on either end, needs to be smaller than the slot on the device. It doesn’t fit for a regular usb cable end.

If you have chargers that disappear in your house, because of teenage charger thieves, I highly recommend this. Keeps the charger and it can’t be removed. Very solid.

My kids were constantly running off with my iphone charger at the kitchen island, but no longer! A bit expensive for what it is, but worth it now that I don't have to keep hunting down cords!

Don’t buy this. What a disappointment. I tried several techniques and cube sizes and nothing came even close to reach the screw hole to fix

The hole for the charger cord wasn't big enough, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned up after it was printed, overall not impressed for the money. I will give it credit once I drilled out the hole bigger it is functional but not for that kind of money

This did not accept any usb cords in the house. It's misleading and a bad product.
