Scum

Anybody interested in the dreadful experience of an unloved, mistreated teenager will be enriched as a human being by this book. The way the sentences are written, without our usual punctuation, draws the reader into the unstructured mind functioning of the narrator. My own words feel very poor after this powerful read.
