I bought this book for my grandson when he was about 3 years old...It was amazing that a child soyoung would sit and watch this three house movie mesmorized...His love for the book was no less...He knew all the charactors in the movie and the names of the actors who played they...I believe thisis a testament to how lovely the movie and this book are...The pictures are vivid and beautiful, thedepiction of how the movie was written and made and of the same value...I highly reccomend thisto anyone who loved and enjoyed this movie as much as we did...I recently repurchased it as themuch worn and much loved book met it's fate in a fire a few years ago...So I bought it for my grandsonagain and he was so happy....Beautiful book and well done....

Dances With Wolves is the movie that changed my life SO dramatically. So, of course, I had to have the book too. I can't add much to what's already been said, but I do have a warning to potential buyers ... don't get sucked into spending a lot of money for the "signed" Academy Award Collector's Edition because the "signatures" are pre-printed in every book and are NOT original signtures. I got mine for $13, not the $200 that some people are asking for it.
