It come without batteries but is one third the price of advertised new ones. However, the arrow and OK keys are difficult to detect by touch.. My original controller has the OK and arrow keys with a metal face and slightly proud from the surrounding 'soft'-faced keys. I could find the 'info' and 'back' key easily. With this new one I have trouble detecting the down arrow key from the 'Back' key without looking at the controller... not always easy once it gets dark. I realise that the reader will be rolling their eyes and tutting at this inconsequential 'problem' but it is an irritant and I am tempted to see if I can take the new controller's innards and see if they will fit in the old case and keep the old keys...
