Impact 7' Parabolic Umbrella Diffuser

Let's face it. When using this the way it's intended you've made a masive soft box. To that end it works really well. Installing it on the umbrella is not difficult. After the first time you'll have it down pat. Great for group photos creating an even soft light. You'll probably need more than speedlight to fill it though. Totally worth owning. I use it with an Impact 7' White umbrella.

The quality is second to none. INCREDIBLE softness of the light and most importantly does not change the color temperature at all. The easiest way to install it is to put the umbrella tip on the floor, throw the diffuser on top and then open the umbrella. As it opens and expands, it will stretch the diffuser around the edges and will fit perfectly. Great product for a great price. I use it with Alien Bees products and is a wonderful addition to my light modifiers.

I was part of a shoot where we wanted one large soft light as our main light source. I had an 86" Parabolic umbrella but never got around to getting a diffuser for it, so I found this product with next day delivery here on Amazon and it arrived in time for our shoot.This diffuser is great - it comes in it's own little zippered baggie. It has a rubber band-like end section that hugs the open umbrella and it has a cinch-tightener around the opening where the light is located. Everything stayed on perfectly and it helped give us a nice, soft light source that allowed our subjects to move around a bit.We shot for a straight eight hours and at no time was the diffuser a problem. At the end of the shoot I was able to pull it off, fold it up and put it inside it's zippered bag, and it's good to go.At $30 it's about at average price for something like this. A tad on the overpriced side for what it is, but at the end of the day it's not bad considering it's size, and it's perfect for someone that needs a diffuser for a parabolic.It's five bucks cheaper than it's similar product on the Alien B's site, and you get fast shipping.

I've had this modifier for a few years and it's still my largest one. It has been a workhorse and never failed me. If you want super soft light and have the space this is a very good option that will last.

This is a giant umbrella. However big you imagine it to be, it’s bigger than that all set up in your studio. Prepare for it to take up a significant space. Nevertheless it’s pretty cool and diffuses a large amount of light. I only wish that the umbrella cover/diffuser was a tighter fit.

It fits the Paul C Buff 86" Parabolic perfectly! Also it's easier to install and made better than PCB's. I'm happy!!!

The diffuser fits easily onto the parabolic umbrella making already soft light even softer. It has it's own storage bag that is quickly identifiable making it easy to keep track of.
