Okay for a Keto Product
We have been on a low-carb/high-fat lifestyle for over two years. Though we don't really miss traditional bread, there are times that we would prefer "traditional" things for hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. For us, a lettuce bun for a hamburger just doesn't cut it.We have tried various "keto friendly" breads and buns and were disappointed many times. The Sola brand seems to be the best out of the bunch. However, I would not give it the highest rating because of:* Even though keto friendly products are normally expensive because of the ingredients, I find the cost of these buns to be a bit over-the-top in price. It's not a big deal since we only occasionally eat hamburgers.* The flavor (even though better than most other brands) still has that "protein taste" which I can only cover up with lots of onions, catsup, mustard and mayonnaise.* Because these buns do not have wheat flour, they are definitely not as soft and absorbent of the condiments that you normally put on a hamburger. Traditional buns tend to let the flavors of the toppings permeate throughout the top and bottom. It seems like NOTHING gets to the middle of these buns. Therefore, they have a dry mouth feel. The only way that I've gotten around this is to put the condiments on the bun before I start grilling the burgers so it has about 10-14 minutes to be able to "soak up" some of the flavors and not be so dry. Now, complains aside, they are, so far, the best choice compared to other products. I just wish the price were lower AND they would add ingredients like guar gum to give that "chewy gluten-like" mouth feel. Finally, for keto and low-carb purists, there are some ingredients that may be considered "sketchy". However, for us, it isn't a big deal since we aren't eating these on a daily or weekly basis. I just wish they would be the best alternative to traditional white, whole wheat or brioche buns.

Favorite low carb buns!
These are my favorite low carb buns! I typically freeze them if I don’t use them right away. When you freeze them you lose some of the softness texture but if you don’t freeze them they are perfect! I love toasted buns on the grill so if I have frozen them I toss them on the grill and they get the softness back and a nice toast! They are on the pricy side, I wish they were a little cheaper but you get what you pay for! They don’t use vegetable oils in them which is important to me

Great for Keto Burgers
These are a little chewier than regular bread, however, they do the trick for enjoying a true hamburger while on keto. A bit pricier than I would like, but sure beats making them myself!

Too large
I do admit these are the best I've tasted - as far as keto goes. However, the buns are way too big.

Will buy it again.
It tastes good for diet bread. I can eat bread now Without feeding the guilt. Also, it feels like real bread . Thank you for the good work

The best "Bread" so far
They arrived a bit slower than I expected, but all appeared well. I used a few. And I was reasonably happy. The texture reminded me more of the various egg buns, with a hint of crescent flake texture, not exactly traditional "bun" texture. I prefer this, so no problems there. The taste.. was virtually nonexistant. That threw me a little, and I dont think Id care to eat these on their own. But then on a burger.. there should be plenty of flavor, so this is not a problem to me.Second surprise.. about 5 days later I come back to the package. The buns appear to have collapsed a little, but smell and act fine. And indeed on trying them, they are just fine. Ive had fresh bread not do so well with time.Third surprise.. three weeks from the original arrival date. The buns have definitely collapsed a bit. But they are still quite edible. But lacking burgers, I decided to go grilled cheese, 5 guys style. Excellent! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it came through with flying colors. Ive tried dozens of similar products, and none are as good. Now If only their bread products could be available locally at a reasonable prices for normal grocery buying.

$My picky eater likes them$
These are good but not necessarily for a strict ketogenic diet lifestyle. The flavor is milder than normal bread, but it’s typically eaten with other condiments or jelly, never alone. different from My picky eater scoffs down 2 at a time and the pack disappointedly only contains 4 buns. I would eat them at special occasions. They’re too costly to purchase for weekly meals at our budget. We freeze them and he toasts them before making a sandwich.

I can do this!
These buns are amazing. In my opinion, they taste better than a regular bread bun. I've always liked a little bit of bread on my burgers/sandwiches, but buns are always too fluffy, too carby. I tried sandwich thins -- but we all know those are underwhelming and dry. This bun like *integrates* into the sandwich -- and since my brain is aware that this is "low carb," my tongue is waiting for that "ick" moment that reminds me that THIS is not okay. But it doesn't come with these buns -- down to the last decadent bits of taste -- and it occurs to me that it's better than bread. I had my first on with a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich -- I toasted and buttered. Cannot wait to try a juicy burger with the inside grilled with garlic butter like In-N-Out. I'm already down 35 lbs. (15 from water weight from starting a BP med, but still) -- and I know I can keep going with products like this.
