Great camera and easy to use and set up.
I did quite a bit of research on game cameras before deciding on this one.I can’t say how long the alkaline batteries will last in summer weather but in cold weather (teens and twenties) they just do not last any time at all. I was able to only get 4 days of videos and the alkaline were dead. I purchased the Energizer Ultimate Lithium NON RECHARGEABLE. 5 days and nights with hundreds of videos and lithium batteries are still at 100% in very cold weather. The set up on this camera is quick and easy to understand. There is several options for pictures and videos. You will just have to play around with the settings and get the best for your application. I have mine set at 30 to 35 feet from my feeding area and about 4 feet above the ground.I mainly use this for videos. Both day and night captures are of good quality and display well on my 52 inch television. Sound quality is equally good. The no-glow infra red has absolutely NO GLOW. Very pleased with that. The camera is very quiet but if you’re standing right next to it you will hear a very faint click when it activates.Whether it’s my scent or the click, trust me, the deer do notice it. I have several videos of deer noses and ears to prove it.The 32 gb memory card is plenty for me since I check it every day. If you’re going to be leaving it in the woods for weeks or months you may want to upgrade to a larger card. The included memory card reader is of no use to me since I put the pics and videos on the laptop daily using the card slot on the laptop. The strap for securing the camera seems to be tough and the metal fastener grips the strap securely. Even with nosy deer and raccoons. Mine is strapped to a chain link fence post. The camera has an adjustable angle grip plate on the back to secure it firmly to a tree but works equally well on the metal fence post. This is the first game camera I have owned and so far it has exceeded my expectations.I’m sure there are others out there that are better but for me I don’t think you can beat it for the price.Would I buy this camera again? ABSOLUTELY!!

Excellent!
I bought this camera specifically to find out what was rummaging through my garden and I found my answer the first night I had this set up. I cannot believe how easy to use, and how successful this outcome was. I'm not very techie, but I was able to get this running easily. I'm amazed at the quality of the night time shots. I've owned it less than 24 hours so cannot speak to longevity, but we are off to a great start. I can see using this other places on the property to capture wildlife or even for home monitoring.

1,000 ants couldn't kill it
I thought my first Dark Ops was permanently damaged when I went to retrieve the card one day, and there was a colony of about 1,000 ants and their eggs inside the camera! I think I had accidentally hit the battery eject button, and it was slightly ajar, allowing the ants access. Literally, for days, I was tapping the camera on a concrete floor to get the ants out of the card slot. I even sprayed it with compressed air. Ants still dropped out when I tapped it, so I ordered a second camera. Just out of curiosity, after ants stopped falling out, I put batteries back in, installed a card, reprogrammed it - and it still works! 1,000 ants, tapping it on concrete, and spraying it with compressed air couldn't kill it! Kudos to Browning. Few products today are built to last like this camera! And now, I have the second Browning trail cam I wanted!

Night video captures high pitch squeeling noise on audio
I used to be a huge fan of these, I probably have a dozen of them around the property. However, whatever software or hardware changes they've made recently means that any video captured at night has a high pitch squealing noise on the audio track. Maybe there is some interference with new hardware components, I don't know. I did notice that the software has changed a little bit as well in the last 6 or so months. This isn't an isolated issue, it has happened with all of these cameras that I've bought recently. What used to be a great camera is now unusable for video capture at night.

My new favorite Browning trailcam
Crystal clear picture quality - amazing clarity. Night photos are great too. I set it on 7 rapid fire & the trigger speed was awesome. I had to reduce it because I was actually getting too many “copies” of photos. All the same perks as other Brownings-great battery life, easy to use. Love it.

Good daytime pics, avg nighttime pics.
These cameras still generate a lot of false photos in the heat of the day. Daytime pictures, battery life are both really good. Night time photos are average at best.

Great camera
Browning Dark Ops HD Pro X Trail Game Camera BundleI like this camera so much, I have bought 7 so far. Four are for security for some buildings on my property, the others for hunting. Great sensitivity for the motion detection. Good picture quality, and I can't believe how long the batteries last! There are other models that have came out, but I know this one works well, so this is the one I keep buying.

Security camera
I use it to monitor my Koi pond to keep track of predators in my yard. Easy to setup easy to use I do recommend the economy screw-in trail camera holder. Screw it into a tree, fence post, deck and side of my house.
