Silly wizard spell name card game
Fun but best enjoyed by mature, a good sense of humor and gamers. You won’t be board for sure. I’ve had some side-splitting laughs with some name combos. Wizard spell cast card game.Fantasy, D&D, puns, doofus, yet creative spell names, crazy Gonzo-art work, match icons building spell card game. Bought almost whole series. Good stuff!

Super Fun Game!
We had previously played the prior Battle Wizards game with friends and opted to buy the "sequel" for when they play games at our house. This makes some good improvements on the original. 1) It introduces a play mechanic around having the standee, 2) it introduces a blood mechanism that gives bonuses, and 3) it introduces the concept of creatures that can continue from round to round and take hits for the wizard. Overall these add some great new mechanics to the game and make it a worthy successor.

A Really Great Game, Especially in Bigger Groups!
I bought the base game as well as this add on. My family and friends have enjoyed playing this game several times. The game is better the more players you have, as several of the spells and effects that they create become more or less powerful depending on the size of your group. The game is pretty straight forward in how it is played, but provides a great amount of variety and room for different strategies and play styles. The art work is beautiful and often over the top. This game is DEFINITELY not for younger players as many of the spell and effect names are rather crass, as is much of the art work. But if that doesn't bother you, then you and your group can have a very enjoyable night playing Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards.

Great expansion and standalone game!
This is one of my, and my friends, absolute favorite games to play. This "Expansion" has just as many cards as the original and can be played completely stand-alone. For anyone familiar with the original game "Duel at Mt. Skullzfyre" it's very similar to that except it adds a few more unique additions such as the ability to gain blood as a currency to power-up your spells, making the standee (cardboard cutout) actually useful in spells, and having pet cards that can take hits from you or stay in your spells indefinitely depending on the luck of the dice rolls! I highly recommend this. My board game playing friends who meet twice a week with me love it, and it's played at least 1 of those 2 days a week every time without fail.

Fun, very very fun
Very fun game, it's great for casual game play as it it requires almost no strategy. That is also the game's only downside, the game is so random that it makes planing out a turn almost pointless. I won the same amount of games by planing which cards to play and just randomly picking the cards. If you want a fun, easy set up, and fast paced lol game play this is for you. If you want strategy in your game avoid this.

Good, but prefer the orignal, overly complicated.
I LOVED the first version of this game and couldn't wait to get this, and while it is fun, The amount of new rules makes a bit to complicated, keeping track of blood and the standee and creatures in play takes away a bit of the fun of the original. I still love the art and the concept and it IS fun, but honestly i prefer the original to this sequel.

Great funny game
This is a great game for groups of friends that can handle some gross out humor. I personally would reccomend ages 13+.The game is played in rounds where you and anywhere from 2 to 6 other players create spells to attack each other with. The rules are moderate to easy to understand (my 70 yo dad started getting it after a few rounds.) But can be a little confusing at first because the cards have a lot of information on them. Besides the cards the game comes with health marker/character sheets, and a center decorative cardboard tower (for the mood). This game had me and my friends laughing for hours and has some strategy so more advanced board gamers will still find it fun.If you like poop humor and can get at least 3 people together for a half hour or more you will like this game. If you aren't sure about it, you can check out the youtube channel Geek and Sundry. That channel has Wil Wheton playing the other version of this game with a few other people to show how the game works.

Magic missile away!
I purchased this because I loved the original! This is all the same rules as the first one, except for one neat change. That tower you had in the first one is still there but now it means something! You can also have minions in this game that can take the bullet or in this case magic missile for you! It's a fun little party game the rounds can be over before it even gets to your turn depending on the amount of players. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. The story in the instruction Manuel should be read to all new players also, it's hysterical.
