Magma CTRL Case SP-404

I paid £15.99 for this in early 2024.Good case for my SP404SX.Substantial heavy duty zip is good.Fairly essential protection if it's being transported.Would I have paid £30+ for it as it now appears to be..yes probably.Good product..recommended.

No room for cables... But equally no rattling around. :-)

Perfect case for travel. You can put a cable and such under between the foam and the case before putting the SP in for a compete carry. Fits nicely in a backpack, carry-on or suitcase. I’m on the road quite a bit for work so it’s nice to be able to work on tracks while chilling in hotel rooms. Now I can bring the SP confident that it’s travel safe. Highly recommended.

Very firm and rigid case with smooth fabric inside. Large and beefy zippers. You can't see it from the pictures, but only the top side has a foam padding for the buttons and knobs. The bottom of the case has the soft/smooth fabric lining. It's not a con as the case still protects as much/little as a rigid soft case would; just not noticeable from the pics.

This case is excellent quality but unfortunately it doesn’t fit my SP 404 MK2. It’s a little too small lengthwise to fit it.

This is pretty much one of the only cases you'll find for the SP404. It does it's job of holding a 404. My disappointment is pretty much that while the case is rigid, it's a little bit flimsy for my liking. The eggcrate foam on top isn't adhered to the top or anything so it's just a cut out piece of foam. There's no foam on the bottom and the case leaves literally no room for anything else. Couldn't leave in a headphone adapter plugged in even. There's even some glue that's smeared out from one of the seams so I don't anticipate this case lasting an incredible amount of time, but who knows? Maybe I'm wrong about and I hope I am!
