My Newest Favorite Tool, Won't Go Without Again
This amazing weed tool has been a pleasure to use in my lawn for dandelions and various other weeds. It took me a few minutes to develop a great technique, and now I feel like a pro after an hour-and-a-half. I filled up a 5 gallon bucket twice in this time with weeds, and I'm confident they won't be back since this tool pries out the root. At first, I was attacking the roots a bit too deeply, and now I feel I can asses an adequate depth to plunge this into the soil, and at the right angle, for quick and efficient work based on the size of each given weed. I'm just amazed at how great my lawn looks immediately! No need to spray and wait for days only to have remaining brown dead spots of weeds throughout the lawn. I still plan to spot spray certain areas with clover and smaller weeds, but the bulk of the work is already done thanks to this great tool. My lawn looks better, Ill use less chemicals, Ill spend less money, and I have much more satisfaction with immediate results. A previous post said it best..."Where has this been all my life?!"

Flexrake CLA329 Classic Dandelion Weeder
A few years back a friend of mine came up with an idea for a weeder that would pull dandelions out of the ground along with their roots so they wouldn't be able to grow back. I was surprised to see this on Amazon as it is exactly as my friend envisioned it. I purchased this weeder and used it on all the dandelions in my yard. It's a very effective tool and easy to use. My only comment about how it could be improved is that the prongs that pull the weed out of the ground could be a little longer. But after I used the weeder for approximately a half an hour, I had probably pulled 100 dandelions of varying sizes out of the ground. It would be nice if there were two versions of this tool, a long handled one so it could be used standing up and the version that exists. Even though I don't feel it's perfect, it will get the job done quite efficiently.

Didn't know- but now I do.
If you have ever tried to pull a weed and get the root with a shovel, you will want to read this. I had never seen or hear of this tool before my neighbor was using one and I asked about it. This tool completely and easily removed the entire plant and root. With just a press. I was amazed. Clearly I was just learning about gardening, but don't judge. I bought one of these asap and had it shipped prime because I had just bought a foreclosed home to rehab and there were weeds everywhere! I didn't just want this tool- I NEEDED it!! For my sanity! Since I have gotten it I try to work it into every conversation (stimulating right? Lol!) just in case someone was a gardening novice like me at the time. Just trying to share something I wish I had known about for years. One thing to note- it's a great tool but if your yard is big, this might not be for you. It's good for upkeep or a small area but it will take a while if you have an acre+ yard to pull.

Where has this tool been all my life?!
WOW. This is an amazingly simple, yet ingenious tool that actually works. My back yard is literally covered in Dandelions and chemicals were NOT killing them. I was tired of repeated attempts at trying to rid my yard of the pesky weeds, so I started looking for a physical solution. After reading other reviews and comparing the features of the different weeding tools, I decided to give this one a try. Boy am I happy! This tool is strong and sturdy and makes mincemeat of any dandelion that comes in its way. The secret is its ability to literally lift the weeds out of the earth by their heads with the built-in fulcrum. It pulls the dandelion and its root system (about 90% of it) out in one fell swoop.I was able to remove 50+ weeds in 15-20 minutes moving at a quick pace. I found it helpful to position the prongs (which are sharp!) directly down into the plant about 1" off-center of the plants middle section and then push the handle to the ground using the fulcrum to do the hard work for me.This is seriously the best $14 I've ever spent on a garden tool. And a major plus is no more chemicals to worry about for little ones or pets to walk on. You will love this thing!

This weed puller has been fantastic!
The first weekend I used it, I pulled out near 15 gallons of weeds (big box store 5 gallon, orange, you know the one). Second weekend, another 5 gallons. Then we had some rain that softened up the ground and I was able to get another 5 gallons. Since then it's been a quick review of the yard, and maybe one now and then. The way this gets the main root out is the trick, and with the fulcrum, it's very easy to dig it out.Our yard looks so good, I've had complements from my Wife! and the neighbors and the UPS delivery drivers!

OLD TIME WORKHORSE-, review on how it works on those huge ugly weeds!!!!
We love this little tool and hate weeding! Pre script-I can not stress how beautiful this tool is, and a wonderful size.:*We hate picking weeds, but who does't? This tool amazed both my husband and I. (It is very 'pretty'- beautifully made!)*We have those HEAVY DUTY dandelion weeds that have a root that grows forever BUT using this- when used correctly- actually works.* The first time we used this weeder I felt like a child discovering something for the first time- it was easy to use and the root came out with the ugly weed! I kept saying "look- look- it really works- look"!*You have to put the fork in all the way, about an half inch from the weed, set down the flex (the bulbous part)- then push down on the handle- the key is the flexrake- it sits against the ground and does the work for you.*It works on small flowery weeds to the big ugly weeds we have been calling plants for years!*You may think you do not need another weed tool. If you purchase and do not like, give it to someone else, because I guarantee, SOMEONE you know will appreciate this tool- I am buying one for my son!ONE SMALL BIT that BOTHERS ME.... the fork does not release the root easily. You have to remove with your hand over half the time, but geez, if I am that picky I really need a gardener!**VERY HAPPY I BOUGHT THIS for my husband!!!!!
