I tried it because I have large hands and this mouse looked large. WRONG. My fingers wrapped all the way around it and overlapped with my thumb. I am developing pain in a different spot, and the grip is uncomfortable; having to grip anything at all throughout the day causes shooting pains up to my elbow thanks to my repetitive stress injury, so the intentional grip on this mouse is unbearable. A regular mouse just hurts my finger and forearm; this one is an elbow-killer. The wire is what I believe to be the culprit; a wireless version of same might make a difference.Old Review:Felt improvement in my repetitive stress injury within one week of use; I like the vertical design, the grip, and the button layout. It's not perfect (still feeling a little tinge in my arm), but definitely better than my old mouse that was not vertical. I wound up removing the detachable wristpad, which feels better than leaving it on. The one major bummer is the wire, which is always in the way; I am frequently using my other hand to bat the wire out of the way. The laser used to track positioning is also a little inconsistent; sometimes it's great, but other time it's sluggish.
