“Finally, My Driveway Knows Who’s Coming”
The eMACROS Solar Wireless Driveway Alarm is like giving my driveway a sixth sense. I no longer have to squint out the window every time a car rolls in—this thing tells me instantly. Setup was surprisingly easy: mount the sensor, plug in the receiver (or let it charge via solar), and boom—instant peace of mind. I even caught a raccoon “trespassing” last night, and yes, it gave me the same alert as a car. Pros: • Solar-Powered Sensor: No wiring headaches; keeps itself charged during the day. • Wireless & Easy Setup: Took less than 15 minutes to get it running. • Adjustable Sensitivity: Can differentiate between a bird hopping around and a truck rolling in. • Multiple Alerts: Works for cars, trucks, and yes… curious wildlife. Cons: • Range Limits: Works best if your sensor isn’t too far from the receiver. • False Alerts: Sometimes tiny animals trigger it, but honestly, that’s kind of fun. Overall, this alarm is perfect for anyone wanting an extra set of eyes on their driveway without installing cameras or complicated tech. My driveway has never felt safer—or smarter.

Excellent product
eMACROS Solar Wireless Driveway Alarm System does an outstanding job alerting me whenever cars and people come within range of my home. The sensors work perfectly with only sunlight charging. The base station accurately alerts me whenever the sensor detects motion within its range. The quality of this product is excellent.

If you are buying a replacement, READ THIS.!
These work great and have much better range than others i've tried over the years. My furthest sensor is about 400 feet from the base station that's inside the house and reception is reliable. I also purchased an additional kit just for the extra base station so I can also hear the alerys in the house. Works well. But... The company changed the design completely and there is no indication of that in the description. If you have existing eMacros units, this new one is not compatible. My older sensor failed so I wanted to order a replacement from Amazon. I looked up my previous purchase on the Amazon dashboard and chose "Buy Again" and purchased but the one I received is 100% incompatible with my existing units. There is no indication in the product description this is a different product. 1. The new unit has a USB-C charging port, not Micro-USB like the previous version. So my existing hard-wired power setup has to be re-done. 2. The older sensors will not pair with the new base station making them useless with the new product (or vice-versa). They must have changed the frequency. So I have to buy all new to get the same functionality. 3. The mounting bracket has been changed and is different than the old model. 4. The new alert is a combined recorded voice and tone, in English only. If you don't want the voice alert and just the tone, you are out of luck. 5. The new unit does not have battery backup (which is important for me--our power goes out frequently). No power, no alarm. That means you can't carry the base station out into the yard to aim and test the sensors. That's a major limitation. 6. Despite the rubber cover on the bottom, the sensors are not rain-proof *at all*. If you decide to purchase, be sure to mount the sensor where it will not get wet (rain, sprinklers, dew). It will fail fairly quickly. I would buy again but wish the company made the changes to the design very clear in the product description.

eMACROs Solar Driveway Alarm
We purchased this item to replace a unit from another manufacturer, as their line had been discontinued. This product was easy to set-up and install and seems to work well so far (only had it for one week). It is doing the job for us. And for the price, we are pleased with its' performance.

Love it! Wish we had it sooner.
We live out in the country with long driveways. We have a few visitors and several deliveries each month. We never know when someone would show up until they were actually HERE or already leaving. Now, when we get a delivery, I have my shoes on, leash on the dog, and garage door opening to greet the delivery personnel before they step out of the truck. We have two sensors and one receiver. The sensors are mounted on trees near the driveways and are not noticeable to the untrained/unwary eye. They are both about 50 yards (150 feet) from the receiver in the center of our home. One of them is mounted on the back side of an 18 inch tree. Meaning, the signal has to go through the 18" tree, exterior wall of our house, and one or two interior walls to reach the sensor. NO Problems! It works great. We've had these right at two months now. We charged the batteries per the instructions before we installed them. The solar panel has kept them charged ever since even though they are mounted on tree trunks, UNDER the overhanging branches, and even during several days of clouds and/or rain. I'm impressed. We will probably purchase an additional sensor in the future for when I'm working in the shop. The one in the home is usually plugged in. Occasionally we unplug it and take it in another room since it has battery back up. Also, the instructions say to point it towards the engine block of where a car will pass on the driveway so it will detect the heat. We only had two types of situations where it worked or didn't work as expected. 1. Sometimes it would pick up an occasional vehicle passing by on the road, giving a false alarm. I fixed that by pointing it just a littler farther away from the road. No tools needed. 2. When my wife takes her car out of the garage and leaves, it does not alarm when she passes by. I'm sure this is because the vehicle is at such a neutral temperature that it cannot sense it. I'm curious to see how it will work during our winter. Again, being pointed towards the engine block, it should work fine. I would highly recommend these to anyone that is interested.

Work well, but setup issues
I've had these alarms up for 2 weeks and so far they are doing their job and seem to be holding up to winter weather. I had pairing issues when initially setting the sensors up with the base. It took some trial and error to get the chimes I assigned for each alarm to stay permanently. I would pair a sensor and move on to a second only to have the first sensor assigned chime change on its own and I had to start again. This happened several times and I could not remedy it. I did a work around and got the chimes how I wanted them. I mounted the sensors and they worked for several days, then the chimes changed again on their own. Not sure why. Then out of the blue, they went back to what I had assigned. Pretty annoying. Other than that, things are working as they should. One note I would make is the base does not have a battery backup and only works when plugged into an outlet. These alarms do not seem to have the capacity to work when there is a power outtage. I consider that a negative. The range seems pretty good. My furthest sensor is 200 yards from the base and senses well. I think these alarms will work well as long as they dont get water inside like other models I have used. Those didn't last, so hopefully the better design of these Emacros will be more effective.

Sounds are good
Loved the different sounds! Had trouble either setting up as I couldn’t get on the site. Finally got it with trial and error. Wish they had better instructions in the box, but it works great and have 2 different sounds.
