I love the challenge of these puzzles! Not to mention the learning experience with each one. The answers can be searched in many ways (not the answers that are included), but online, in books etc.. I find the completion of the quote very satisfying and learn from the clues. I just purchased Volume 7. Great fun for the crossword buff!

A titillating challenge, but you can finish one puzzle in an hour. If you are a crossword puzzle fan, this is definitely a step up. All the quotes are pithy, some quite beautiful like one by Willa Cather. Some authors of the quotes are unknown to me, but some are quite familiar names. The editor of these books has taken the time to find us hours of pleasurable concentration. This is my second book; I'm definitely buying more.

The puzzles are challenging but solvable if you persist, thanks.

My dad's got dementia and has said that he enjoys working these puzzles, wants me to search for some that are possibly a harder difficulty level in this series of puzzles.He definitely recommended that we get some more of these for him to work on!!

I gave volume 5 and volume 6 of this acrostic book only 3 stars because they contained way too many errors - some quite unbelievable!!! Mostly, the errors were misspelled answers but also incorrect answers, misspelled clues, incorrect clues, completely missing clues as well as some repetition and duplication.What ever happened to editing and proofing of material before going to print???

This book of puzzles was too hard for me to do. I have done many acrostic books, but this one the clues were too hard for me. May be right for someone else used to knowing trivia.
