I was sceptical when I was ordering, and when it came I thought the grid was too large. But I was very impressed when I started using it. I used it on a ginger (not very fresh) but it was so good. It made effortless long threads and cut through the ginger fibres beautifully. This is by far the best greater i have ever used in my life.Also, you must be careful using it. The blades are sharp. And if you are not experienced use some precautions or use assistance. Please keep away from children just like a knife.Can't comment on the durability.Just one shortcomming if can nit pick, the cover it comes with does not slide on or off very easily.

Very good for zesting and Finely grating

Grated ginger with it. It was easy and effortless to use. Output: very fine grated ginger.Be careful when using, as it's pretty sharp.Love it!!
