J.K. Adams 8-Inch-by-11-1/2-Inch Sugar Maple Wood Spice Jar Carousel, 32 Glass Jars Included

After counting the number of spices I use, I chose the 32 bottle carousel. I just received the shipment and the quality is excellent. A friend said that he saw a knock-off for less money but the quality wasn't as good. For me, it's worth the $40 extra for a high-quality rack that will probably last longer than my body :-p And as a bonus, it matches my maple cabinets. I just wish I would have bought one years ago. My only criticism is that the bottles are exposed to light. From what I've read, light and heat reduce the shelf life of herbs. This is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars. Two solutions would be to use darker glass bottles or to mount stained glass panels in the open sections to cut down on light transmission. If the latter solution was employed, the manufacturer could offer different colored stained glass options. I'll probably add some stained glass panels myself.

Received this spice rack but was damaged, was not packaged very well and was missing labels. Amazon was quick to make it right, received the second one in less then two days. Very happy with the quality. Sturdy and turns smoothly. Much nicer than other spice racks I have looked at. As other reviewers have said it looks like bare wood but I imagine it has some sort of finish on it, might stain it to match my cabinets. Also think it's a little pricey, especially when it doesn't come with any spices but was willing to pay more because I liked it so well. Looks nice on my counter and excited to have my spices so easy to get to. Giving it four stars just because I think it's kind of expensive.

I had a smaller version of this but it did not hold all that I wanted. It has performed well and I like the size, both for what it holds as well as the little space it takes in my cupboard. It has a small crack in the wood but I was unwilling to go through the process of sending it back. I will just have to see if it stands the test of time.

I did a lot of research and pondering before purchasing this rack. I was unable to find it in a store and I was hesitant to pay that much for a spice rack, sight unseen. After reading the positive reviews here, on several other sites, and speaking to the customer service at J. K. Adams, I decided to bite the bullet and placed my order on Amazon - which had the best price.Since I use a lot of spices, I purchased two 32 jar racks in one order, rather than getting one at a time. Initially I wanted the 48 jar rack, but it was about 1/2" too tall to fit under my cabinets, and I have no space on my counter. Now I am glad I got the two 32 jar racks, I actually have some empty jars, and I can blend some spice mixtures that I have wanted to try.The racks arrived today and I am more than satisfied. The quality is what I had expected - they are beautifully made and revolve on the base smoothly.

I've had this spice rack for just over 3 years. The ball bearings have stopped rolling smoothly, and it is difficult to turn. They appear to be rusty, but I don't really understand how that could be. I have contacted the company for a replacement. I will update this review when I hear back from them.

They did the impossible, making your spices and seasonings ORGANIZED but sexy in the process. It does it all, revolves around beautifully. I love it, just make sure you buy the stickers for it, and buy more hole tops. The ones that come in it are horrible, the holes are huge, not needed. Overall great and classy product.

Wood base was cracked. Class canisters were not air tight and therefore did NOT keep ingredients fresh. My herbs and spices went stale quickly, clumped together or solidified. The organization was nice but not at such a high price and at the high cost replacing all of my ingredients! Great idea but needs to actually work!

This thing is pricey but worth it, in my opinion. The craftsmanship is outstanding. And it allowed me to impart some major organization to my spice cabinet by moving a lot of the contents to the countertop. Fortunately, I was able to make counter space for it. And fortunately I have several good places in the area to buy bulk spices to fill the jars.I anticipate having this spice rack for the rest of my days. I might make the effort to stain it or seal the unfinished wood at some point. But right now, I love it the way it is.

Honestly, this is VERY high quality. Clearly a handmade item FAR superior to any crap that you would find at Winners or Target etc. This is well worth the money. It is compact and the quality of the wood as well as the jars is wonderful. The base is so solid... no wobbling or unevenness whatsoever.
