Very dense text
This is the older edition of one of the most popular algebra-based high school physics textbooks in the US. This book covers a lot of material - about 1,000 pages of small text, with lots of good examples drawn from technology, the sciences, and the world around us. I enjoy tutoring students from it (I previously used Knight, "College Physics", another algebra-based approach). The only thing I don't like about this textbook is the small point size of the text - unnecessarily difficult as one's eyes get older.

Not very good
Cutnell and Johnson know physics, but they do not know how to teach it. They should do themselves a favor and call Dr. Knight and ask him to help them out. I have both books and the difference is huge; while Cutnell/Johnson explain concepts in a way that leaves students puzzled while trying to solve a problem, that is not so if such students read the same concept on Knight's book and then solve that same problem. I actually donated Cutnell/Johnson book to a library because I do not need their baffling and confusing textbook much longer. Long story short, they know physics but their teaching style is not effective. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor, move on!

Book
I was pleased with the cost of the book and the ability to have it on my kindle. I did have trouble initially with having to zoom in on the book due to small lettering but I have been more slow and patient with my adjustments which has made a difference. I did report this to kindle company whose staff was very helpful in trouble shooting with me.

Fast shipping and came in great condition
The book was shipped the next day and arrived two days later. It was in great condition- no writing or highlighting, no torn pages. The only drawback was that there were no resources at the end of the book normally found in other college textbooks, like the glossary and answers the odd-numbered questions. I paid $35 to rent this book, and it was worth every penny. At this price, it beats scavenging eBay/Half.com and Amazon for purchase and then trying to sell it when you're done with the class.

Good book for AP physics
I ordered rental for my 10 grade son. The book is used but quality is pretty good, I have a question: after he finished, how could I return ? I canโt find process from your web?

Good Book
Used it for my college Physics class. Not bad I actually read everything I was assigned and it helped. I also recommend checking out Chegg. I used these two hand and hand. Price is high but college is a market.

Worth the price
I was disapointed that the first couple of pages were not put in the electronic version. Why would you decide to not put the pages of weights and measure tables in the electronic version? I was told to turn off my device when I was taking a open book test. So make sure you talk to your instructor before you purchase.
