CLOVER 8492 Kanzashi Flower Maker Gathered Petal Quilt Pattern, X-Small

Love this series from clover. Would like even more sizes to choose from. I love tiny kanzashi earrings and huge floral pins and hats. A larger selection of sizes would be crazy awesome.

Very beautiful petals

It may seem odd that such a small item is bulky, but my issue was with cutting the fabric around the template. it leaves too much fabric (2-3mm) around when cutting.Regarding the size, this is perfect for a small flower (around 1.5in wide, think of baby clips in the hair) and so if you are looking for a bigger flower, make sure to get a bigger size. Also, due to the small size, I found that regular quilting cotton will work, but seems thick and heavy for this application. Thinner material would be preferred.Overall, it does what it sets out to do, which is make kanzashi flowers quickly and it accomplishes that goal.

These are really too small . Not at all what I thought they would be.

I like these templates to make embellishments for clothes, hats, doll clothes.

Muy fáciles de utilizar, los pétalos salen todos iguales y el resultado es muy bueno. Hay que tener en cuenta que la tela tiene que tener cierto "cuerpo" pero que no sea demasiado gruesa para que las dobleces se marquen bien. El tamaño extra-small es perfecto para hacer detalles pequeños o adornos para muñecas. Lo único que no me gusta demasiado es el sistema de cierre, que no sé si al utilizarlo mucho se romperá, separando el marcador en dos trozos y dificultando la tarea.
