Ultra Seal Underlayment 300SF

Great product. Arrived quickly and easy to install. I put under manufactured wood flooring that had no other underlayment, on top of cement slab floor. This is the produce recommended by the flooring supplier.

This underlayment was high quality and installed with relative ease. You do need to be careful walking on it after it's in place. As you would expect (or at least I did) a good foot twist will tear it. Best of all, no squeaky new wood floors

Definitely deadens the echoes in both of the rooms where laminate flooring was installed on the upper level of our house. One room is an office with an office chair that has wheels and they person using it rolls around. You still hear the person and chair rolling from below, but in the room is is fairly quiet. Definitely lessened the echo when speaking in there. Other room is a bedroom so it has more sound absorption from the furniture. Easy to use. Fairly durable and did not tear but not nearly as tough or cushioned as the underlayment from 20 years ago,. I definitely recommend it highly even with floor that have a pre applied underlayment!

This stuff is not cheap but it does actually work well. I used a lower cost material in some areas of the house but for those high traffic areas I would recommend this product.

I found this product easy to use and the adhesive was strong enough to hold the pieces together.

Not a big reviewer here but have to give this product a shout out for excellence. We live on a floating home with no insulation beneath the floorboards. Have always had wall to wall carpet with a thick pad for additional insulation and decided to replace all with hardwoods throughout. Was very concerned for moisture barrier but mostly concerned with insulation. Decided to go with this as it had the highest "R" value we could find. Very pleasantly surprised. It does a great job and no longer have any concerns with the hardwood floor. Heat stays in the house and we have had no increased cost in our utilities either.I recommend this product without hesitation!

This is my first time installing a floating floor and my home has a very tall ceiling so sound is a big problem. The FloorMuffler Ultra has been wonderful for not making the rooms echo like they would with other brands. I really worried about this after taking the carpet up. The rooms would echo so bad and I was very worried it still would after installing the flooring but this underlayment was wonderful. For having tall ceilings with laminate wood flooring it really is not bad at all and that is thanks to this product. I did add some underlayment tape over the seems but I did not have to since this comes with an adhesive strip but with walking on it during install it just made me feel better. Also nice to have the extra tape if you happen to tear the underlayment while walking on it. It just makes sure you have it all sealed up so no moisture can get to the flooring. Install was not to bad easy to unroll but help to have a second person in large rooms to keep everything lined up. Also this product is the exact same as what some of the big box stores sale just in a different color. Save your self a lot of money and this on Amazon. Also I loved being able to get large rolls because in the stores they like to sell small rolls and that just means for seems to tape. I really looked around before getting this product. I was really worried about sound but I got the best product on the market and it ended up on Amazon not being that expensive. I hope this helps

Once installed it fells solid and gives thinner flooring (laminate/engineered) a solid wood feel because of the sound dampening, and it doesn't have that squishy feeling, like other laminate underlayments.
