Reading Makes You Feel Good (Todd Parr Classics)

This book is a great introduction to reading at the beginning of the year for my first grade class. The illustrations are extremely colorful, cute, and simple enough for me to teach my students how to draw characters. The illustrations truly inspire kids to draw. After one lesson, they love to draw detailed characters, settings, and events. They also learn to use lots of colors and to cover a whole page. The simple, to the point text keeps the focus going and the kids want to hear and read more Todd Parr books with no end in sight. I enjoy using all of his books in my classroom.

I love all of the Todd Parr books. The colors, the clever drawings, the simple words and the important message all work together to create a powerful journey. I never tire of reading a Todd Parr book. And my grandchildren never tire of hearing them.

Love this author and this is my daughter’s new favorite book! Colorful and fun to read. :) Promotes reading too which I love. All these books share a great message for kids!

I love Todd Parr! I have everything he has written and I always buy anything new that comes out or that wasn’t available when I started teaching. His books always leave you feeling happy after you’ve read it!

I used this to send the kids off into summer. It was great to use as a discussion piece and I will be using it at the beginning of the year to set reading goals. Allows students to be reflective upon themselves.

I purchased this book to read during my class introductions at the beginning of the school year. I am a literacy specialist in a kindergarten building. This was a great book for that age group. They loved the illustrations and understood the message.

As usual, Todd Paar is right on track with the text and illustrations in this book. It held the attention of my preschool 3s class, and they immediately wanted to read it again!
