Perfect starter set or add-on set of versatile bowls.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: These rimmed bowls match my existing "simple Lines" Corelle dinnerware perfectly. Lightweight, sturdy, dishwasher safe, and microwave friendly - the food heats up but the bowl stays relatively cool to the touch. They are the perfect size for a hearty serving of soup or stew, the rim gives you a place to rest your roll or toast. We also use ours for Asian fusion meals with rice or noodles - the rim gives you a place to serve your bao, dumplings, or to rest your chopsticks. Perfect addition to our dinnerware!

Excellent for soup
Quality bowls worthy of the Corelle name. We got these shallow bowls for soup/stew so that it cools down faster. Great addition to our dishware. Corelle dishes are always well worth the price since they last forever; they even usually survive being dropped.

Perfect for the spoiled kitty
Joes toy we use these to feed our cats. It's the perfect depth and size for their wet food. Super easy to hand wash or toss in the dishwasher. None of them have broken yet so if they can withstand 3 cats at dinner time I'd say they'll last a while.

Best dishes ever!
Super bowls! I loved them so much I bought an entire set of these dishes (salad and dinner size plates as well as some larger bowls). They're all so light, easy to clean, very sturdy, look great and I really like the simplicity of design... just plain winter frost. Nice!!

Corelle is light weight, yet sturdy.

Decent plates but scratch marks show fast
The plates are fine for everyday use and feel sturdy enough, but the scratches started showing up really quickly. Even just using normal forks and knives left gray marks across the surface. They still work and haven’t chipped, but they don’t look as nice as I hoped after only a short time.

could be a little deeper
these bowls are a nice size, I bought them because I wanted a rim for my older friends to be able to carry a bowl of hot chili or soup to the table. The rims are very nice and fit the hand well. I was hoping they would be just a bit deeper but I like them and will use them. They are still good for soup or chili.
