Star Wars R2-D2 Pet Costume

I was worried this costume might not fit right because some other reviews. However, they have the measurements in the size chart. It's accurate. I measured my cat and bought size M. She is 11 inches long neck to beginning of tail & weighs about 12lbs. Cute costume, comes as pictured! Hat is small and there are ruffles at bottoms of feet as other reviewers indicated. But cute costume. She will match our family's Halloween theme.

I ordered the R2D2 costume for my husky in a large, and the Yoda costume in a small for my corgi. I decided to ignore the other reviews and hope for the best because these were just too cute to pass up. The Yoda costume fit pretty well, except for the fact that the sleeves were a little too long. (I didn't really expect otherwise since corgis are known for the stubby legs.) The R2D2 costume on the other hand was WAY too small for my husky. It was about the same size as the Yoda costume, despite the two being different sizes. After stretching out the neck hole and busting some of the seams, it fits my husky a little better. The sleeves only go about half-way down his legs though. Overall, I am fairly pleased with how these look on my dogs, but procede with caution if you decide to ignore the other reviews like I did.

Cute, but is thin... this is not necessarily a bad thing, but I think that some of the other reviews did not appreciate this aspect of the product -I think it made it easier to put on my dog. The 'hat' was actually designed well -rather than just having a single elastic strap to hold it on, it had a Y or V-shape for the elastic so it would stay around my dog's ears. About the sizing... I have a 26 pound cocker spaniel and generally need to buy Large-size costumes for him, based on other reviews, I bought the XL, but it was definitely too big -the length went way past his tail and the sleeves were too long (I should've stuck with what I've previously purchased).

My dog has never worn a costume and I wasn’t sure how he’d react. The price was so great that I just couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to dress up my puppy! He looks so freakin cute! He didn’t seem to mind the costume either as he fell asleep wearing it. Hat is a little small but meh, he still looks cute in it. Overall, I love the way it looks on him.

For the price, this costume is a great value. I followed the measurements chart, and the size was perfect for my pug. The hat doesn't stay on well, but I think part of that is because my pug's head is small with the flat face and all since it has an adjustable chin strap and you put the ears through little holes where the string attaches to the hat. The costume was of appropriate quality for the price, and we have no issues with it. The only area that could be improved is the area around the feet looks like some 1700's tunic sleeve, and if you could put some kind of hoop in that part, kind of like you wood for a skirt, it would look better.

All of the previous reviews warning of this product are completely accurate. The costume is cheaply made and will not fit your dog as pictured (After buying the product I can see that the dog in the preview is photoshopped and not really wearing the costume). The legs on the costume are awkwardly long and fan out in a weird pantaloon shape, and the cap will not sit properly on your dogs head as pictured. I despite the negative reviews I bought it because it was cheap, but even with the low cost the costume is not worth it.

Wasn’t true to size at all. I would size up at least one if not two for anyone who does want this. The outfit was cute but cheap.

Better quality than I expected. Got an XL for an average-sized cocker spaniel - fit well around the chest but was a bit long.

First one arrived with the elastic for the hat not attached properly on one side and some long pulls of thread around the foot openings. Contacted amazon and got a replacement wi th the same issue. We stitched it properly on our own to make the best of it.

Not actually big enough for a large dog even in the biggest size. We have a M/L staffy cross and this didn't fit him.
