Must read before buying
I have 2 of these, one is an XL (my normal size) but after receiving it feels a little tight on me, no huge biggy because my wife wears my jackets so she can adopt it if it shrinks in the wash. The second is a XXL this one fits just right, I am 6' 180 lbs and am slightly lanky so arm sleeve length is a big factor, if you fit my description or even up to 200 lbs I would do the XXL. I wear layers under mine coming from Wisconsin, usually a short sleeve T a long sleeve T my button up work shirt over both of those and than this jacket ...it keeps me warm around negative 5 temps wearing that so its warm enough! over all a good buy but watch the sizes because they are definitely deceiving and also there are no breast pockets which I grew to like so that all figures into my 4 star rating.

One thing missing - insulation in sleeves
I have ordered several of these from various manufacturers and EVERY single one is the same. Chest insulated and is a great fall jacket but no one bothers to put that small layer of extra insulation in the sleeves anymore just that small layer of polyester material which provides no insulation and very little wind block. Basics did have a jacket with extra insulation once but is no longer available and it breaks my heart to think someday my jacket will die and never be replaced because everyone is to cheap to throw $2 worth of polyester fiber fill in the sleeves. Manufacturers add the insulation back to the sleeves!! This one went with the other 3 to DAV. I gave it three stars because other than the sleeves being cold it is a really nice jacket that will go to a good organization helping our disabled veterans. Want five stars? Insulate it, its supposed to be heavy you know cold weather, wind....

The sleeves will not keep you warm in the cold
I bought this for myself. So far the weather this winter has been around 30-50 degrees. And while this sweater does keep me warm, you can forget about that when it gets windy. The sweater is Sherpa lined. Including the hood. Everything but the sleeves. The sleeves do not protect you from the wind at all. If it's windy then you're better off wearing a sweater underneath. The reason why this bothers me so much is that when the wind passes through the sleeves, it heads inside the sweater bringing cold to your shoulders as well. The size I ordered was medium. While it fit well everywhere else, the front looked big. Maybe I'm a small but from the sides the sweater looked like it fit me but from the front it looked 2 sizes too big. I suggest skinny people like me order the small.Besides the size/sleeve issue. I really liked this sweater. It's a good solid one to wear on clear cold nights. The quality is good and the color (I ordered the black one) was exactly how it looked on the pictures. It's solid sweater but the sleeves are a major issue in the cold. The size was a little awkward.

Definitely worth the price it's listed at. Had to get two!
I bought one for my boyfriend for Christmas in an XL (He usually wears larges) and it was a little on the small side for him. He was comfortable, but the sleeves were a little short. I loved it so much that he barely got any use from it, and I had to buy him a second one in XXL. That one fit him much better and now we both practically live in them. We're located in northern Florida, and they keep him warm (He's a big baby about the cold and considers 70 degrees Fahrenheit to be blanket weather). The jackets are incredibly comfortable and soft, and very thick. If you're looking for a light hoodie, keep searching. Snuggled into this jacket, I feel comfy and hugged and a little bulky and puffy. However, they are not quite winter-coat material either, I feel, especially if you live further north. They are a great in-between for "saving on heating bills and staying in the house" or "have to do some yard work in autumn", something like that. His biggest complaint is that the sleeves of the jacket are not lined with the same fleecing as the body and hood. We both ride our bikes to work and college classes, so the non-windproof-ness of that feature bothered him. On the other hand, I considered the windflow of the arms to be the only thing to counteract the warmth of the body so I don't overheat on those long rides, and it cuts down the bulkiness of the jacket. Consider your personal preference before you buy one. I bought him some additional fingerless wool gloves to cover his wrists, and he says that fixed the problem well. Also, as it has been stated, the jackets do not wash well. I have access to a pretty top-of-the-line washer and dryer, washed it according to instructions all by itself, and it still came out looking ragged and the fuzz to be tangled. I consider that to just be cosmetic, and taking a cheap dollar-store brush or comb to the jacket improves the look of it. But if that bothers you, be aware that your best bet would be to line-dry it in heavy wind. I have not washed the second jacket yet, and the difference between the way they look is pretty significant. It looks like a nice, $65, high-end more-than-jacket, less-than-coat when you buy it, and looks very professional; After one wash, it looks like it was that back in its heyday, and you only kept it 'cause of an emotional attachment, 5 years later. Personally, I'm not bothered by it. They both feel just as soft, and like I said, brushing the jacket improves the look somewhat. Especially because the jackets were only $35 on Amazon (despite the shelf-cost of $65) I still consider them to be completely worth it. If they had run me full price, I might have been peeved. Again, consider your personal preference before buying.Pros:Incredibly comfortable.Less bulky than a winter coat, and with additional sleeve-covering, almost as warm.Seem durable in build; all zippers and trinkets are metal, stitching is neat. Well-made with no complaints, thus far.Definitely worth $35, even if I would have hesitated to buy it for a full $65.Cons:More bulky than a hoodie, if that's all you're looking for.Might leave your arms cold.Might not be as suitable in colder weather than what we experience here (I think that depends more on the individual's cold-resistance, though.)Runs very small.Gets tangled and ragged in the dryer; not exactly machine-safe.

Epic Hoodie.
Once I put this on, I didn't take it off for 2 days! When the cold front hit Northern Florida I decided it was time to get some new hoodies to wear around the house. This kept me warm and comfy in 40 degree (Farenheit) weather. And it kept me "warm enough" in 30 degrees (but I don't recommend it for long term exposure to those temps). It's quality made, the lining is very nice and thick, the sleeves have quilted liner. My only regret is winter doesn't last long enough to justify buying more (I only bought 2).

AMAZING QUALITY!
To be honest, I wasn't expecting this good of quality from a hoodie. But I got it for my husband, and I am shocked at the quality of it. I will be ordering from this company in the future! I ordered it on wednesday, today is friday and it has already arrived! I would recommend this!

Hubby's new favorite jacket!😁
Perfect fit and my husband loves the warmth it gives! Reminds him of our sherpa blanket in the bedroom. The color isn't bad too...Not too loud and "oldies" looking.
