Best tasting for plant based protein
I've tried only a few plant based protein powders but prefer the flavor of this one. Pea protein tends to have a more chalky and legume-y taste, and more fat per serving. This brown rice protein delivers a little less protein per serving but significantly less fat and calories than the others I have tried, which were rice based with other plant proteinsources added. The taste of this vanilla in particular is less bitter and chalky than the other ones I tried. This was the only thing I could keep down in the morning during pregnancy and was a lifesaver later while I was awaiting gallbladder surgery and avoiding fats at all costs. I recommend blending with a banana, a bit of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and lots of ice to further diminish that chalky taste you just can't escape with protein powder 😂 And a great value when you compare the cost per serving to others, too.

The BEST protein powder
This GN is by far the best tasting vanilla protein powder. Unlike the others, It enhances fruit smoothies instead of adding an artificial, chemical flavor. If I want chocolate I just add Navitas Organic Cacao Powder. No need to buy the great tasting GN chocolate version that’s always sold out. The texture is smooth, not chalky. GN Rice Protein Powder is the best there is.

FANTASTIC, except for the most recent batch (Oct 2017)
I've been using this protein powder for a year and it's absolutely delicious! It's smooth and tastes great in anything (I've added it to my coffee, among other things) and nothing comes close to being as good. It's absolutely my favorite.Except for the most recent shipment. After they ran out over the summer, it seems that they either rushed the manufacturing or changed the formula, because the most recent batch is terrible. It both smells like and tastes like puke, like they used butyric acid in the processing and didn't finish removing it all. It's disgusting enough that I'll probably toss the whole container.I'm extremely disappointed and will seriously reconsider reordering.

Not Horrible but not Great
The taste is bearable for my palette, but it's not terrible considering the nutritional content. Still, it is veering the line of tasting like liquid cardboard... Mixing it well with the blender bottle and some almond milk, it has a very chalky consistency. That being said, it's neutral bland taste opens the door to the option of adding fruits or honey.

Fantastic alternative!
As someone who can't handle a large amount of whey protein powder that are in almost every other brand this has been the best choice for me!I am apparently one of the rare few who can't consume whey without killing my bowels so I stood very far away from protein mixes since then, but just a few months back I decided to bring it back up again to boost my protein intake and I was not disappointed by this! I considered pea protein as well, but I believe I'll still get sensitive of it.Sure, it doesn't have as much as what the usual well known branded powders have, but it does cover enough of the right amino acids to help with my workout. So far I've gotten great results in just a few months and I get happier every week. The only con about this is that it is definitely more powdery and grainy compared to other powders. You can taste and feel the powder if it hasn't dissolved that quickly. I just use either water or almond/soy milk and shake it in a sealed container for a minute or two, which helps with that grainy feel. However, it isn't horrible either. I can manage this (mostly because I have to) for the most part and I find that blending it in a fruit smoothie is the best!I also tried the chocolate flavored one, but I didn't really enjoy that as much as I did with the vanilla flavor.I highly recommend this to anyone who also needs to stay away from Whey protein.

Great for Serious Diets
I am on a much needed diet and my day consists of two shakes, one "real" meal (no red meat) with lots of veggies, and snacks between those three. Protein drinks have been important to me over the past 5 months. I've tried whey protein and soy protein, but my two RN daughters told me the rice protein was much better for my use. I've tried several types but have been on Growing Naturals for the past 2 months and am totally sold. Plain is not so tasty, but I like the Vanilla powder. My last order was for 4 of the 2 pound containers which lasts me about 2 months with a twice a day shake. I will continue to reorder this amount and will taper off to one shake per day when I reach my target weight in another 28 pounds. I mix with soy milk, chia seeds, and 6 frozen strawberries and get a great tasting smoothie. Good high speed blender gets rid of any grittiness, even the chia seeds. Not only does it taste good, but it works. I've lost 62 pounds in 5 months. I thought I would tire of the shakes, but I change things up with blueberries, mixed fruits, or bananas from the yard when they are ripe. Even avocados go well with this powder.A little more expensive than other similar products, but I figure I'm worth it. I highly recommend this product.

Good source of protein
Good flavor and texture. I can’t use whey or pea protein and this is an excellent option. I prefer the vanilla blast flavor over the chocolate, which is fortunate because the chocolate is typically out of stock.
