Wide measurement range of -4 to 140 degree F and -20 to 60 degree C, and setting range of 32 to 140 degree F/0 to 60 degree C permits measuring, and maintaining temperatures above or below ambient. Control heating elements, cooling blocks, hot plates, heating mantles, cooling systems, or incubators to an accuracy of +/-1 degree C. Controller may be set in 1 degree increments. Display reads in degree F and degree C with a 0.1 degree resolution. Unit accepts standard, three-pronged plug and controls equipment rated to 1800 watts, 15 amps. Brilliant, 1/2" high LCD shows the temperature and time of day to the exact second. Red LED status light indicates on/off mode of attached equipment. Uses the same microchip and software that control sophisticated plant operations. May also be programmed to turn equipment on and off at any minute of any day. Always-remember memory permits programming three different pairs of on/off time switchings per day. Memory chip and display are powered by two AAA batteries. Simple commands are a joy to use. Display walks you through steps. Set high and low temperatures or schedule timer on/off settings in just seconds with press of a few buttons.
