Shorter shaft
The new item was the same part number as my old one but the main brass shaft is shorter than my original one. But I removed all washers and managed to use it

Replacement mechanism for clock. Exactly as ordered, instructions easy to follow.Would benefit from some type of adhesive pad to attach it. I used strong double sided tape.
