Great piece of kit. Robust and good value.

Does the job, can see clearly with the light, easy to use and has two sizes of ear pieces to fit well

As my review suggest this is a budget value otoscope. Everything works fine just lack abit of finesse on final quality and design. The bulb is quite big and can get in the way when trying to view through the otoscope but not a deal breaker. Product doesn't have any brightness adjustment but wasn't expecting that due to the price. Could have come with a few more disposable tips since they are meant to be single use only.All in all good value for money.

Quality product easy to use.

I purchased this to practice ear examinations for a prescribing exam. Unfortunately this otoscope is not fit for use. The ear structures are blurry unless you are very close to the area. This creates great discomfort for the person examining as you cannot keep pushing into the ear to get close. At first I thought it was perhaps something I was doing e.g not accurately positioning the otoscope or not being close enough. However, when using the Reister during my exam with ease, i realised it was definitely the quality of the otoscope and not me! The magnifying glass is not fit for purpose. Its not worth money, just spend a bit more to get a better otoscope.

Being a doctor, I use this otoscope every day at work. However, I got this otoscope for my own use so that I am able to do ear, (and even nose and oral examination using its light) where ever I am required to (at home and on the go). It is light weight, nicely designed and feels of good quality. The light is bright and adequate. This is a nice addition to my tool kit for examining patients as now a days a doctor without his/her tools has very limited ability to assess and diagnose. Sure will recommend this to any doctor looking to buy an otoscope.

Fair for use I want it for, would prefer a better magnification but it is a fair piece of equipment for price. Hoping that other tips also fit as the ones sent aren't that secure.

I'm not a doctor or trained with these things in any way. But this produces a clear image of my child's ear and has helped me work out if they required further treatment from a doctor. It's given me piece of mind when checking their ear and I would recommend this for use at home. I was able to see if the ear was red when compared to the non painful ear and if there is a lot of wax that needed treatment. So a great prodcut for basic home diagnosis and has helped me in those middle of the night wakings to check my toddler will be ok with some calpol and a cuddle. I don't normally write reviews for things but I think hopefully this might help concerned parents during the middle of the night when all they want to do is check yours kids ear to see if they might have an infection, or indeed anything else.
