National Hardware N274-852 V2672 Swag Hook in Antique Brass,2-1/4" , Black

I used it to hold up a sheer canopy over my daughters bed. It is nicer than just a plain old hook. It comes with 2 different types of mounts and they hold very well.

Works and looks great. It’s holding a 35lb lamp in the ceiling without issue using the butterfly attachment.

So we needed to replace and relocate our kitchen's mini-chandelier about a foot from the existing housing, and this was the only idea I could come up with since none of the electricians in town want to visit my house out in BFE. The new chandy's pretty darn heavy (around 20 pounds... 5 lights, glass sconces, metal everywhere else), so I needed something pretty heavy duty. This hook had a few good reviews so I figured why not. My new fixture is oil rubbed bronze, so I coated the CORRECTLY LABELED, POORLY PHOTOGRAPHED "antique brass" hook with two coats of Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint before I installed the hook. No problem: I let the paint dry 4 hours, then hung the new fixture on the hook without a bit of scratching or flaking on the new paint. This hardware is great--nice big toggle that you poke through the ceiling, then GENTLY pull down on the hook a bit as you screw the thing into the ceiling to secure everything. I highly recommend this swag hook. Yes, it is pretty ornate for most applications, but it's a heck of a lot better than those silly rubber-coated numbers that appear to be the only other option for less than an arm and a leg. 5 stars!

This hook is amazing. I literally want to hang everything off of the ceiling now. It looks awesome, the installation was a no-brainer, and did i mention it looks awesome?

Bought this to swag back a heavy chandelier in my dining room. Used the screw fitting and installed into ceiling joist for sturdiness. It has worked well. It is a bright white color and a good size. A good value for the price.

National Hardware N274-878 V2672 Swag Hooks in White , 2-1/4" the picture in the description is ANGLED so it looks like the hook has more of a sharper turn... It is rounded. See picture, its straight on view, its a rounded hook, not a sharper angled hook. Anyway i'm ok with it.

Not the best paint job, had to respray mine, but comes with 2 ways of fixing.
