I am a ceramicist and use these tools with stoneware clay. The variety of tool ends is nice to have at hand. The tools are well made and well balanced in your hand. Good value.

Bought these as a gift. The price was perfect for what she was getting and what she was going to use them for. They were a well built material and perfect size for her to do her fine detailing.

I recently have be reintroduced to Sculpey Polymer clay. Previously (many decades ago) I used it for bead making, now I am getting into miniature crafts. There are so many tool options, and I have picked up a set or two of the value tools. As I am crafting, I find that I keep reaching for the Sculpey tools. The resin handles do not hold scents, moisture, or color. The tips are quality metal and finely formed. They have a good shape and feel for holding in your hand.

Pros: These tools are very nice for a starting sculptor like myself. I tested these on sculpy, sculpy soft and super sculpy. on all of them they do a amazing job and are a my number one used tool when it comes to smoothing. Dont get me wrong this is NOT a one product for everything sculpting I highly recommend you get a basic sculpting tool set for 7 bucks that includes a knife tool and a poke tool (apologies for the lack of proper names) to do some proper cutting and getting the basic shape. but when it comes to smoothing the rubber nips at the end are one of the nicest things I've seen. they smooth the clay out really nicely and help make very clean seems and edges. I have seen products similar to these and heard the horror story of reviews that come with them. i'm lucky to say i am not in the same case when it comes to these. The only reason I do not give these a 5 star review is that some of the rubber nib edges came with a little bit extra on the edge that I had to cut off. had i not it would leave lines and indents in my work as I smoothed. though this was a easy fix for me if not done carefully could mess up the rubber tip permanently. lucky for me i had a exact-o blade to fix it. I would buy these again in a heart beat if it was just the one end but i'm even luckier that I get the metal ball end as a bonusI

They work well Forrest sculpt clay, but I use them for ceramics. They are one of my go to tools for sculpting.

I love these tools... so simple but gets the job done! And the tip sizes are exactly what I needed. I use them on almost ALL my clay projects.

I’m using these to make my little sculptures, and if you add a dab of water to the Sculpey, it makes it smoother as you blend. It’s still a little awkward for me, but I’m getting the hang of it!

There are many different uses for these wonderful tools. The ball stylus ends come in three very different sizes - 2mm, 6mm and 12mm in diameter, and the two larger sizes are hard to find in other ball stylus sets. They're the main reason I purchased this set. The flexible-tip clay shapers on the other ends of the handles come in three different shapes - a pointed cone and two rounded cones (one narrower and one wider) that are great for smoothing seams, making seats for pointed crystal stones, etc. I often use a combination of the ball stylus tips and the flexible shaper tips to impress holes in my layered stacks for polymer clay mokume gane.

The Sculpey detail tool set. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. I use mine for accenting fine detail on cakes and cupcakes. Superb quality. Excellent value for the money. I ordered 3 sets by mistake. So glad I did. My daughter and grandaughter now have their own sets instead of 'borrowing' mine. They did take a while to get here in the U.K. definately worth the wait. Will be looking at Sculpey products again for future purchases.

Hice mi primera compra y entre las cosas que pedí fue este articulo, realmente cuando llegó se veía nuevo, duraderos los materiales, me gustan estas herramientas por que en el modelado facilitan muchas cosas a la hora de esculpir por eso le doy 5 estrellas por que en un pedido normal, este producto llego sin novedades y muy satisfecho por la compra

Genials per modelar i esculpir sobretot sobre argila polimèrica, però també amb argila comuna, fang, plastilina, etc. La nostra empresa ICRA Art (que es dedica, entre d'altres a esculpir i fer rèpliques hiperrealistes) les ha adquirit i ban perfectes! Dónen molt bons resultats!

...habe eine guten Verarbeitung und bestehen nicht nur aus 3 verschiedenen Ballgrößen auf der einen Seite, sondern habe auf der anderen Seite noch 3 verschiedene Instrument aus ein wenig biegsamen Gummi. Ich war überrascht, aber auch erfreut. :-)

Je suis sculpteur de figurine et je fais des animations avec les enfants en sculptures ces outils sont juste parfaits ! J'en avais en plastique mais rien à voir avec ceux-ci, l'embout silicone est de très bonne qualité et les boules de tailles idéales pour mon usage. Je les recommande.
