Works well. Has adjustable reach and pull. The product feels good in the hands. They definitely feel better then the stock levers that where on my bike.

I bought these for use on a Surly LHT with Oryx cantilever brakes. I use them in conjunction with a North Road-type touring bar rather than the drop bar that came with the bike. Do read the instructions very carefully, though, because it's not readily apparent what it is they're telling you to do.There are two pictures in circles: one picture shows how to configure linear pull brakes; the other picture shows how to configure non-linear pull brakes (including cantilevers). It took me a little while to figure out that they were showing where to position the hinge for the nipple-holder. Once you understand this fine point configuring for your brakes is a snap!Tektro levers are first-cabin stuff IMHO. Use 'em and abuse 'em.

I bought these lever to replace my 8 yr old level on my old bike. These thing are sweet! very lite and they move very smooth. Our daughters bike needs new levers and I will buy her the same! The adjustment for the cable position is very nice and the feel nice. It seems to be good quality.

Great levers for flat bars, and they work equally well with linear pull (V-brake) and other styles of rim brakes. They also work with mechanical (not hydraulic) disc brakes. I have them on my commuter with Tektro R559 dual pivot side pull brakes and on our tandem with Avid SD3 linear pull brakes.

I installed these on a 16 year old Trek 7100 I bought used. Worked perfectly.
