With protein powder prices having gotten crazy in the past few years, I love it when a company comes out and just offers a very basic, no frills protein without having too much sugar added in for a relatively inexpensive price.I also love that Casein is slower digested than Whey. This stuff keeps me satisfied for a while. I use it for meal replacements and have no trouble with it.Other reviewers mention this tastes like sand, that is not my experience though, yes you can feel the Casein particles but they are very light and fluffy. This is really micronized into very small fine powder and mixes very fast into liquid. I do not mind the texture at all. The vanilla flavor is also subtle and not overpowering, which is good for me.I will likely be ordering more of this product.

This is the OG of proteins. I only give it 4 starts because the taste is just.... hard. It's chalky and maybe needs more salt or cocoa or something. We know it is the best form of protein for muscle growth but we all gag on it when we have to drink a lot. I guess we could add the salt and cocoa ourselves. It is much better with the PB2 peanut butter powder. We will keep buying it for its health benefits, but wish the taste was a little better.

I bought this in vanilla. both vanilla and unflavored have 110 calories per scoop. I mix with whole milk and add an egg, sometimes extra real vanilla and or un sweetened coca powder. I find that it mixes well both hot and cold with milk, and I like it. Next batch will be the unflavored version as I can add my own flavors. I don't mix with water, just personal preference. I'm going to try making a simple egg custard with it for extra protein. It seems to stick with you and digest slow for meal replacement and before bed protein boost to help me sleep rather than carb loading.

Vanilla flavor is great, not too bland, not too sweet. Great price. Like all Casien protein powders they are not as smooth as whey so expect a bit of grit but this was very minimal with this brand. Best value and product I have tried to date in Casein protein powders. Keeps me satisfied.

I wanted to give casein a try over whey because I like to make puddings and mixes over smoothies and casein is supposed to be thicker. I find casein far superior over whey for my needs.As for this particular brand, while I haven't tried any other casein proteins, I am very happy with its consistency and taste. I can add just half a serving of this protein to a 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt with some cinnamon and cacao nibs and I have this wonderful concoction that makes me think of cannoli filling with not a hint of any "chalkiness" or strange aftertaste.It also dissolves very easy in nut milks. I tried almond and macadamia so far and had great results with about half a cup of nut milk per full serving of the powder to create a great creamy starter base for whatever I want to make.Macros are perfect for me as well since I am always counting calories and carbs.I'm sure there are probably amazing tasting caseins out there but for my needs and wallet, this will be my go-to every time because I am quite happy and satisfied.

Tasty product. Easily digestible. Good size, for the price. It lasted a while! Protein and calorie content made for the perfect meal replacement. I would definitely participate again.

This protein is awesome, no flavor (the one I bought) that offsets the frozen fruit I use with it for my post-workout shakes. It's also an incredible deal for Casein protein, as it's so much more effective than whey. I commute via my bicycle to work most days, and look forward to my Nutricost shake after my "way-home" workout of additional hills loop. High quality, just the Casein my body needs!
