I used this on a Stiffel lamp that had clearly spent several years aging gracefully (and damply) in a basement. The finish was dull, uneven, and overdue for some attention. I’m not a metalworker—just a hobbyist. I followed the instructions: wipe it on, rub it in, and repeat as needed. The Flitz Multi-Purpose Metal Polish Paste is truly impressive. I used it on stainless steel, chrome, and even some old metal parts, and it brought everything back to life with a beautiful shine. A little goes a long way, and the results are immediate. It’s easy to apply, not too messy, and made in the USA — which I always appreciate. I used this metal polish to clean up a 35-year old set of golf clubs. Yes, I still use a 35 year old set of golf clubs. The Flitz worked AMAZING! It made the clubs look the way they looked 35 years ago when they were brand new, AND it knocked 10 strokes off my average score! Ok, it did neither of those. But it did add a nice shine to an otherwise old dull set of clubs. Heck, I forgot what they looked like when they were brand new 3+ decades ago, but any case they look pretty good now. You can see comparisons in the pics. Some of the areas came out really great, while others were, eh, "meh, ok" compared to the unpolished clubs. I used a dremel polishing tool with the Flitz, which helped the shine. Yes, I tried the dremel WITHOUT the Flitz, and it did NOT have a shine, not even close. So kudos to the Flitz. Now, if it only added 10 mph to my swing speed, I'd give it 5 stars! No, actually, only 4 stars because I actually needed the dremel to get the shine. Without a tool, simply applying the polish and wiping off (as per the directions) really didn't do much to add a whopping shine. Ok, now I'm off to go add a bunch of grass stains and divot dirt to the newly polished ancient clubs. Wish me luck.

Great product. I’ve used many different metal polish brands over the years but this stuff seems to work better than most. It is difficult to clean chrome and make it brighter. This product does well on chrome without damaging it.

EDIT: Flitz is still a great polish! However, the “up to 6 month anti-tarnish formula” statement does not apply to the copper jewelry pieces that I polished. They tarnished in just a few days.😳 To be fair, I’m totally new to working with copper, so it may be another factor causing the tarnish. I will leave my review at 5 stars until I can go back to work with copper once again and update then. It applies nicely and brightens so beautifully when I polished with Flitz! 💙 I love this Flitz polish! It’s easy to use. It comes in a nice box that I actually keep the tube in for storage. I make jewelry out of pure copper wire. Copper darkens & dulls quickly. You can see a wire spool in the background of the video clip and how beautifully bright it gets after using the Flitz polish with my Dremel on my pieces after making them. After polishing, I wash my piece & my hands with soap & water, then dry well. I get so excited to see how they shine when I’m doing so. I made & polished these today. I wonder now though, if it’s better if I skip the wash and just clean with cloth, as to make sure that product remains on the jewelry piece. It says “Anti-Tarnish Formula-Lasts up to 6 Months”! That would be AMAZING! I’ve just used today for first time so I do not know its long-term effects. I will have to make more jewelry, polish & store to see how that works. For now I’m glad I opted for this product! And I saved money, instead of buying the cake-type polishing pastes. This works on metal, plastic & fiberglass, also says it restores paint, so don’t need different polish cakes for each type of metal and each other material. I hope this review helps.

Lo compré para pulir resina y la verdad es que se queda bastante brillante. Me gusta mucho usarlo en aquella piezas que no están del todo brillantes. No se necesita bastante producto para que haga su trabajo así que perfecto.
