Cadbury 17oz drinking chocolate
I was an adult when I discovered Cadbury drinking chocolate. I knew about their famous eggs, but only the UK version of those are delightful. This is the best hot cocoa in the world. It isn't super sweet, though sugar is the first ingredient. I add a few drops of stevia to sweeten the flavor. And I like adding cinnamon and nutmeg to my hot cocoa, while using heavy cream. I make it using a Kerug coffee maker and this year I made some using Starbuck's peppermint mocha coffee. Plain or with coffee, it is not comparable to any USA brand hot cocoa. They have a smaller 8oz size, if you just want to sample it before purchasing the larger size 17oz, which is over 1 pound. It depends on how much hot cocoa you drink as to how long it lasts. I have to use about six teaspoons of the powder in an average size coffee cup to get the flavor I like. Superb in every way in the arena of chocolate!

Delicious when made right
Some people expect this to be like Swiss Miss where you just mix with water, but this is a higher quality product and the nice thing is you can pick what kind of milk you mix into it. Smooth and delicious

Taste like melting the chocolate bar but less creamy
These taste like the Cadbury chocolate bars but not as creamy. I'd prefer buying a Cadbury chocolate bar and melt it in hot milk or water instead because buying this online seems a bit premium for a lower quality taste compared to just melting the chocolate bar.

200 g = 7 ounces (milk conversion to US)
The one star reviews are mostly about packaging and shipping hiccups. Seriously? This is the section for product reviews. This drinking chocolate (cocoa) is phenomenal. You will soon forget all about Hershey and Swiss Miss once you savor the flavor of this creamy steamy beverage. I tried UK Cadbury for the first time about 25 years ago when a friend brought me a bar and I was completely wowed. I thought I would try this as a holiday gift to me from Santa. So glad I did!!! I think I am hooked now. It is truly the right product at the right price at the right time. The product arrived safely but I have been an Amazon customer long enough to contact them before leaving a review on a product. It wasn't easy to find out that 200 grams is about 7 ounces but I stretch to 8 and still amazing. Love it, Love it!!!

Tamper Seal Broken
I ordered Cadbury hot cocoa and it arrived beaten up with the tamper seal torn and cocoa leaking into the surrounding box. With the seal torn, I do not feel safe using this cocoa powder. Unacceptable.

Delicious!
I was taught that hot chocolate is made with melted chocolate and hot cocoa is made with powdered cocoa. To me, this product is cocoa, and it is delicious! It is rich and chocolaty without being too sweet. We couldn't find directions re: how much mix to use, so we experimented. We found 2 heaped Tablespoons per 1.25 Cups boiling water was a good start. The same ratio worked with low-fat milk, hot or cold. We also made some using boiling water, the cocoa mix, and 2 level Tablespoons of powdered coconut milk. Yummy! We made many mugs using a different added ingredient each time. Some of these were: cinnamon, Mexican vanilla, instant espresso powder, and Frangelico. We concluded: whether you drink it on it's own or dressed up, it is some of the smoothest and tastiest hot cocoa mix we've tried. Our other choice is by Jacques Torres-- which is a rich mix of both cocoa powder and cocoa nibs. Also, it is not sweet. You dress it to taste.

The real thing
This is true drinking chocolate..like the old-fashioned cocoa that my mom used to make on especially cold winter mornings. Even though I have to use fat-free, lactose-free milk, I get the rich, satisfyingly chocolaty flavor and pleasing creaminess that I crave. It doesn't take much more time to prepare than the cheaper hot chocolate mixes and is not just better, but is easier on my stomach. It's well worth the price!
