Can't Go Wrong with Jetstream
If you already use Jetstream pens, then you know how smooth they write, and write the first time. No having to scribble a line first to get them started. I compare writing with Jetstream like writing with an Apple Pencil on an iPad surface before they started adding friction to the glass. The pen glides across most papers and because it's not truly a liquid or gel ink, it writes on just about every type of surface and is immediately dry. Unlike gel which has issues on post-its and rollerballs which bleed into paper fibers. Jetstream creates bold, solid and sharp lines. I buy the Parker-style Jetstream refills on Amazon and use them to replace all my applicable refills. This turns any pen using Parker-style refills into a pure Jetstream pen. Dream come true.So if you're familiar with Jetstream, this is just another Jetstream except in Orange pen casing (still has black ink) instead of the usual Blue pen casing. If you're not familiar with Jetstream, then what's stopping you?

Jetstream ballpoint pens write smoothly & are archival quality
I love Uniball Jetstream Ballpoint pens because they write smoothly. They don't blot gobs of ink. They are archival quality for writing checks, signatures on legal documents, and for journaling. They prevent check washing fraud. I sound like a paid reviewer. I'm NOT. I've been using Uniball Jetstream Ballpoint Pens and Uniball Signo Roller Ball pens for years for all the above reasons. They are great! You can't go wrong with them. The pen fits well in my hand, and is comfortable to hold. That is important to me because sometimes my hands ache from the years spent typing as a secretary. The barrel is orange, and the ink color is black. Medium 0.7 point.

love this pen.
The ink will change your life. I have had to buy one for each of my kids because they keep stealing mine. : )

Unique color, a little less quality than usual
I'm a fanatic about the Uni Jetstreams. The ink, the grip, and the shape come together in a big way and make for a great experience. That being said, and I see it has been mentioned by multiple other reviewers, it would seem that this pen has a slick feel and not so much of the grip that I like on the standard (US sold) Jetstreams. Not even really a 'gel' grip as indicated by the name Alpha-gel. Not that big of an issue, but combined with a slightly cheaper feel than the the standards, I can't in good faith give it a full 5-stars.If you already like these pens, I don't think you can go wrong dropping $8 on a couple shipped from Japan.

Black ink
I love these jet stream style pens, the silver shell is a cool look. Silver ink would be cool too

Sade sang a great song about this pen. [Side note: Sade is way underrated. Get "Ultimate Collection" and get your lovin' on.]
I'm picky about pens. I resisted the Jetstream hype for years. But then I was finally swayed to try one after reading the review/article on thewirecutter.com (which is a fantastic resource, by the way, as is its sister site mysweethome.com -- they're kind of like a hipster Consumer Reports, and I mean that in the best possible way). This pen glides, it glissades, it makes filling out forms in the waiting rooms of the DMV and the E.R. a pleasure. And the orange color isn't brash, but at least it has some actual personality, y'know? The pen feels great in your hand and I am a happier person to have it in my life. Shame on me for being so closed-minded for so long. Try this pen.[Oh, and for those of you younger than 40, the Sade song is "Smooth Operator." Like the pen, see. Man, I'm old.]

NOT Alpha-Gel Pens- Only Rubber Body Series, Said Returnable but had to get Amazon CS for Refund.
The Zen Store, the company selling these pens, have labeled this listing incorrectly. The pens shown in this listing as of July, 20222 are ALL from the Rubber Series and not the Alpha Gel Series. The pen still has the great Jetstream ink, so I didn't rate it as low as I would have done otherwise.I was also VERY disappointed to learn that these are NOT returnable, even though the listing shows that it is.However, I tried several times to go through the return channels, only to come up with the same result,---No Returns Allowed. Finally, when I had the time to sit on hold, I had the Amazon Customer Service call me. They arranged a refund and told me NOT to mail the pen back to the vendor. I am still willing to return this pen if they would like it back. The pan seems to write as well as any other Uni JetStream pen, but the body is too hard for me to hold on to for very long. I usually use a squishy silicone grip on a pen, or buy a Dr. Grip style. This is just too fat to accept the softer grip, or I would put one on here.
