Delta Plus Mobile Suit Gundam Model Kit (1/144 Scale)

I'll admit, after 10 years of not doing models, this kit was a fun way to get back into working on Gundam kits. It did take me a while, as I'm a bit of a perfectionist on my models, but a skilled builder could get the High Grade Delta Plus done in an afternoon. The dull coloring is realistic to how the Mobile Suit appears in the anime, and also allows for easy customization. I personally plan on painting sections of it silver. There are two negatives to this kit, however. First, the Wave Rider transformation is complicated and uses parts that are not part of the MS version of the kit, and takes almost half again as many steps to achieve. The second is the wings in MS mode. They stay on, but even slight adjustments cause them to simply fall off. Otherwise, the kit was the best experience I've had on a Gunpla since high school.

Its a solid build

As one of my top 10 mobile suits from the anime, to finally build it is awesome! Came in 2 days! If you like a blue beam saber then get it!

I really like this kit but it is not without its flaws.PROS: It looks great especially if you like the design and the construction is kind've interesting. The accessories are pretty good and once your done there isn't really anything else you have to do to make it anime accurate because it's already almost completely color accurate. While it a parts former it stays together very nicely and isn't flimsy at all. Actually the parts forming isn't all that bad and only took me about 6 minutes to do it and both modes look niceCONS: The wings fall off very easily. VERY EASILY! I recommend gluing them if you're not planning to turn the ms into the waverider mode. Also the articulation can be lacking and much is desired and a stand is definitely recommended but stiIl not bad for a practically 6 year old kit. Also the beam saver is molded in gray even though it's supposed to be white and this kit has no left holding hand which is dissapointing to those who want to re enact the battle of Palau from the OVA when it duel wields it's rifle and bean saber.Overall it's a nice little kit and is a great representation of the ms. If you want gimmicks and more detail then go for the mg but the hg is a lot more secure and stable and won't fall over like the mg so it's your choice
