WINSINN Dual Gear Extruder, Works with Creality Ender 3 CR10 CR-10 Pro CR-10S Tornado Upgraded Aluminum Drive Feed for 3D Printer 1.75mm Filament

Bought this to replace the stock plastic extruder on my Ender 5 Plus. Really easy to install and comes with 2 choices of spring depending on how much tension you want.This is working flawlessly and is making my prints better than they were before.There are no instructions in the box but a few YouTube videos show you how to to screw it together in less than 3 minutes.I was getting major under extrusion issues with the stock plastic extruder on my Ender 5 Plus. I would put another one of these kits on my next Ender 5 Plus all day long.Don't read the negative reviews this is brilliant and now feeding like a dream.

After receiving this extruder the first thing I noticed is that the machining is very rough and there's lots of sharps bits in and around the threads.After installation, which was very simple, all it seemed to do is grind away the filament instead of pushing it through. At first I thought it was a clog somewhere, but after buying a new hot end, nozzles, fittings and capricorn tubing, I came to the conclusion that the extruder is just poor quality and causing the filament to snag somewhere.I was so wrong. After much tearing out of the hair, it turns out that I had 2 heat breaks that were not functioning properly. It is still unclear if this was due to user error (most likely) or just a bad batch but the were getting warm too far up which caused the filament to expand and jam in the hot end.Now that I have sorted this problem, this extruder is performing perfectly and I am very happy.

A good design overall. Tolerances aren't as tight as I'd like on the tension arm pin and idler gear has some axial float, but despite this the manufacturing quality is decent for the price. The hobbed profile where the gears drive the extrusion looks pretty rough, but I have not had any issues with grip on my first print. The smaller drive gear gives you 40% more mechanical advantage against the filament so in theory you'll be able to push out more plastic before you start skipping steps, but time will tell if the rough hobbing is sufficient to extrude quickly through a larger nozzle. A good purchase if you want to tinker

I was having problems with slippage of the filament on the original extruder gear so decided to purchase an allow one. It was better, but still slipped. I'd get a loud click on a regular basis when printing.I saw this extruder on a YouTube channel and decided to give it a go. I wish I'd got this one at the start. No more under extrusion and no clicking. Was very easy to install (hardest bit was alligning the two gear wheels for the filament, but I eventually stuck a piece of filament in between them and adjusted the gears. Spot on!

Don't buy this one just wait about a week and get the Creality one instead. I bought this one just because i didn't want to wait and even with me adding my own shims it has still eaten itself away like other reviews have said. It is just a lower quality version of the Creality one. I ended up buying the Creality one to replace it and it is a million times better. You can see from the pictures the Creality one comes with small washers and a tiny gap so that it doesn't just eat itself away. The whole thing is so much better quality. Don't be impatient and just buy the proper one, you won't regret it and won't end up buying them both like i did.

I'm new to 3D printing and have had an ender 3 for less than a month but within the last 2 weeks I've had all kinds of problems with the stock extruder skipping, clicking, knocking whatever you want to call it but it's culminated in all kinds of print problems, nothing sticking to the bed, bad layer adhesion all that rubbish stuff. I finally got round to trying this extruder and I am so glad I did, for the price it was 100% worth it and all my issues have gone away, right from the first test print. Very happy indeed

I bought this last month, and only just got round to fitting it. Fitting was not a problem the problem started after my first print, where the filament goes in, it was very sharp and as the ender 3 feeds from the top its a very steep angle of approach.This causes the filament to shred on the way through to the extruder, it also carries some of the filament dust through to the drive wheels and ultimately the bowden tube causing clogging.If you have your mind set on buying one of these print off a filament guide so it has a direct path to travel into the extruder.I am personally going back to the original setup.

Good all around, installation was a bit fiddly but very happy good installation instructions and plenty of YouTube videos already of people who have done this upgrade alreadyThe only issue is the shat isn't long enough to put the extruder Whewell back on.Did see a YouTube on wear on the base of the cogs but I've not seen that at all.

Used on my Voxelab Aquila so I can print TPU filament. Note you must recalibrate extruder…many YouTube videos on the subject. Great price.

La mia cr10-max si è divorata il suo estrusore in alluminio.Ho comprato questo,è arrivato in un giorno,l’ho montato e stampa perfettamente.La fattura è identica all’originale,potete anche usarlo come upgrade su altre macchine.Super consigliato!

La durée de vie de cette extrudeur est clairement très courte… je dirais même pas un mois en utilisation quotidienne!!Très rapidement votre extrudeur sera plein de limaille de fer noir, il claque bloque, n’aime pas la rétractation!!!Clairement un très mauvais produit

Artikel im März 2021 gekauft und gleich eingebaut. War sehr zufrieden mit dem Artikel aber jetzt fräste sich, wie bei einigen anderen Käufern auch, das ein "Föderzahnrad" was aus Stahl ist in die Alugrundplatte. Kurze Mail an den Verkäufer und es kam prompt ein kompletter neuer Extruder. Der Service des Verkäufers würde ich mit vollen 5 Sternen beurteilen. Das Produkt mit 4.Mal sehen ob der 2. Ersatz Extruder geändert würde.Prinzipiell würde ich vom kauf des Artikels nicht abraten schon alleine bei diesen super Service von Winsinn EU.
