Great Quality
I love this jar! This is what I am using for potty training. My toddler loves that you can put an actual quarter in it. This is great quality!

Great "gumball" machine for Jelly Belly's!
This is a great mini desktop candy dispenser. I'm on my second one, since my glass globe broke and you can't purchase a separate glass globe, so you need to purchase a whole new unit and toss the metal base. Easy to add coins and remove them. Easy to refill the Jelly Belly's. The "sampler pack" they send with is almost hysterical. The image on the box shows you can FILL the globe, not have just a handful of the candy in there. So if giving as a gift, purchase a large bag of jellybeans and the recipient will be thrilled... not questioning the "cheapskate" way out with the mini bag inside. It is a bit pricey, especially with the mini-bag of JellyBelly's . Enjoy! And don't let the globe get bumped!

Jelly Belly Mini Bean Machine Bean Disoenser
This Jelly Belly dispenser was perfect for my eight-year-old grandson's birthday. He loves it. It looks like the photo and is very well made and top quality. You would expect it from a well-known company such as Jelly Belly. There are 20 Jelly Belly flavors. JB is such a quality company. If they say they will include 20 flavors, that is exactly what they do. I'm sure he will be ready for a stash of refilled Jelly Belly beans for Christmas or the end of the week. The best part is that Mom and Dad can moderate how much he's allowed to have at a time. It can be used as a piggy bank and he can set the price to charge his older brother. Ha! I wonder why the box says the container only has 3 servings of 27 jelly beans. We didn't count, but there are many more than 3.***I'm adding an update - When I wrote the above review, my grandson had not opened the package of Jelly Beans yet. He had not put them in the Jelly Bean Machine. I didn't look at the package closely. Now I know why JB said there were 3 servings of 27 jelly beans. I saw the package after it had been added, and it just barely covered the bottom of the container! This little jb machine is well made and very cute, but the description of the container was accurate, but the photo on the box is misleading...especially with the very small bag. It would have been better to send it without jelly beans and have a link to the various jelly beans. It's impossible to know how many jbs it would take to fill it up. 1lb would be more like it, some left over.

Fantastic Jelly Bean Dispenser
This jelly bean dispenser is awesome! The metal body and glass globe are of good quality and feel really solid. It is the perfect size to put just about anywhere and the colorful jelly beans add a cheery and fun visual touch. The coin slot accepts any type of coin but there is also an option to remove the mechanism to use it without coins which I greatly prefer. It's simply a matter of disassembling it and removing one piece with a screwdriver and then putting it all back together. The jelly beans come out around four at a time and very smoothly with ease with just the twist of the lever. There is a small plastic flap that lifts up to retrieve your jelly beans. The dispenser comes with a small 3.25 oz bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans but since it can hold around 1.5 lbs, the included bag barely fills it and looks quite paltry. I recommend purchasing the 2 lb bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans that Amazon sells as an Add-On item or going somewhere like Costco and getting them in bulk. I gifted this to my fiancé for him to put on his desk at work and he and his co-workers love using it.

Definitely better than I expected....
I was initially surprised by the size of the dispenser. It appeared a lot smaller than I expected. However, after opening my 2lb bag of Jelly Beans, I noted that I was able to fit most of it into this dispenser which was perfect!!! Two lbs of Jelly Beans should last me quite some time. After a few minutes of inspecting the gadget without noticing the instructions that came with it, I quickly figured out how to take it apart and put it back together again. Unscrew the top - in goes the jelly beans. Next, I had to figure out how to get the jelly beans out. Haha, a coin! Not long after that, I realized the instructions show how to remove the coin mechanism - and while I haven't quite attempted that since I already filled up my machine - it doesn't appear incredibly difficult. It's a well built little gadget and it fits perfect a top of my desk or on my night stand. It'll also protect my jelly beans from the bean thieves! :) Love it, worth the small price.

JELLY Belly dispenser
I like that the dispenser is made of metal and is such a beautiful replica of gumball machines from my youth so many years ago.

A fun way to store those addictive little beans
The "Bean Machine" has worked fine for us so far. I was a little nervous about the glass breaking after reading the reviews. As a result, I make sure I don't overly tighten the top nuts on the glass globe. In fact, I don't really tighten them at all, I just spin the nuts with one fingertip (one fingertip only) until I feel the slightest resistance and then I stop. There is no reason to tighten the nuts any further as this is a stationary unit and there shouldn't be any reason for the glass globe to move. The mechanism works fine and drops 2 to 4 "beans" at a time. It works with the Belly Flops even when there are 2 or 3 stuck together. I've been through 2 lbs of Belly Flops and the crank only jammed up once. The one time it jammed was due to the mother of all Belly Flops; the 5 bean MEGA Flop (which was super fun to eat by the way). The 5 bean MEGA Flop required the remaining beans be poured out of the top and into a bowl. The MEGA Flop fell out with the rest and no harm was done.
