Works well on the rectangular Model 1 Sega console.
After 33 years, the RF connector wire on my model 1 console finally gave out, resulting in snow and other picture distortions. Pulling the video (albeit just the composite signal) directly from the 8-pin DIN plug works well with this cable to restore the image back to a clean background with no distracting artifacts! Overall, it is a great value for the money.

Perfect fit for a first generation Genesis
Exactly what you need for a Genesis version 1. The OG big box Genesis. With the side to side power switch and the headphone jack just toward the left of the front of the console. This will not work for version 2 or version 3 of The Genesis so be aware of what version Genesis you have before purchasing

Didn't do what I hoped (Atari 800xl video out)
Didn't work as ATARI 800XL composite video out, as hoped. Pinout of connector incorrect for this application. (possibly Atari Pinout weirdness)
