Hyperkin 3-In-1 HDTV Cable for GameCube/ N64/ Super NES

I have connected my PAL region SNES to a StarTech USB3HDCAP capture device using this cable and can now record gameplay using OBS. This is exactly what I neededNote: The signal it sends is 1280x720@60fps. This isn't a problem in itself but your video output may be smaller than the available space (black borders on all sides of the video). Set your capture device to "Fill" instead of "Fit" and that should solve the problem. The Hyperkin has a 4:3/16:9 switch on it to adjust to your display so that can also help outAlso, PAL and NTSC are further subdivided into countries and continents. My SNES is specifically "PAL I" which is usually for the United Kingdom. Bear this in mind when purchasing as Hyperkin mentions the cable may or may not work in some PAL regions

If you live in England, likely this won’t work at all. I used 2 consoles and 2 different tv and had no luck with either. The small print in the description saying it may not work isn’t really good enough

First, let me go over the few nitpicks I have with this.-I live in the UK and while the seller is dubious and took about 2 weeks to ship this, It did get here on time.-The image is slightly off centre vertically, which can't be fixed unless you're playing one of a few games like Smash 64.-There are slight diagonal scanlines on some colours/textures, which is only noticeable if you sit fairly close.-The output is 720p, which I don't have any issues with in of itself, just if it was 1080p it would be sharper.Now that's out the way, I wanna say that this is a great way to play N64 games! Previously I was using a cheap AV - HDMI cable, which had oversaturated colours, stretched the image horrendously, had bad input lag and blurry textures, so compared to that it's a massive upgrade in pretty much every way. You can't see every pixel, but it gets pretty damn close, and considering the N64 hardware wasn't designed for that, that's not half bad. Plus, the option to have games in widescreen or 4:3 is great too, especially if you're suing this with a GameCube or Banjo-Tooie or any other game with widescreen support.Get this as a replacement if you wanna easily play N64 games on a modern TV or Monitor!Note: I'm using a UK region N64 and it works fine, but your PAL milage may vary. Luckily I didn't have to try and figure out a refund with the aforementioned dubious seller.

Rubbish converter, half the time when I actually manage to get a signal it keeps cutting out repeatedly the other half of the time it gets stuck on no signal screen with no work around to it, waste of money don't buy.

Very bad cable cuts out does not work have been unable to arrange collection from house for a refund from amazon am still awaiting a response or redund which i am entitled to by law
