How to Make Cloth Dolls Paperback – Illustrated, February 18, 2020

Anxious to try my hand at creating a new doll after a long Hiatus. Pleased to get a fresh look at this doll artist work.

Basic dolls with embellishments. I have been sewing for years and the patterns/ templates are really good with clear instructions. I don't do a great deal of handwork any more but this book has some fun ideas. I bought as a reference for my doll making library.

The instructions in this book are very accurate. Made my first doll. It was interesting, fun, and honed my sewing skills.

I’ve already made two dolls from her patterns and the face instructions are the clearest of all the books I have acquired. Clear instructions, great photos and beautiful dolls

Don’t get me wrong, the patterns and instructions are nice enough in this book. I just thought it would be completely different/new patterns in this book from the ones in her book Introduction to Making Cloth Dolls. I will keep the book for the couple new ones. I ordered the two books at the same time, so I didn’t have any way of knowing then that the doll on the cover of this book was already listed in the first book. Three of the patterns in this book are repeats from the intro book. The general info is also a repeat, so I would purchase one or the other, but not both if I had it to do over.
