Better made than competitors'. People forget that plastic parts de-form a bit when put through the dishwasher. Then we remember cuss words we thought we'd forgotten or the kids didn't know we knew they see us when dealing with a leaky pitcher full of breakfast smoothy.

Fits my poster blander perfectly. Came with a new gasket. I left water in it for a few hours. No leaks

The Oster 4902 blender jar bottom fits my Oster Blender jar properly and works fine.Price was reasonable considering packing shipping and inflation.Seller, G&R, sent it promptly and it arrived before scheduled date. Extra star for them.Only point of criticism might be in the actual quality of the plastic base Oster is producing. It is thinner than the old original plastic base that broke. Maybe it is a newer stronger plastic that will work great but it feels more fragile than the old plastic bottom.Time will tell! If it breaks I will update this review made in October 2023.

After 30 years, my base cap broke. For older models, the Oster website doesn't tell you what to buy in order to replace it and I was worried that the newer ones wouldn't fit my old model. So I searched for a cap that looked like mine. Mine had 5 ridges and was very sturdy, and I thought this one looked a lot like it.The base cap pictured is NOT the one they send you. They send you the newer version which has 6 ridges and doesn't seem nearly as sturdy. It is, however, a genuine Oster part, and it does fit my Osterizer, so I'm OK with it. I'm not convinced it'll last as long as the last one though.

I broke this part on my mom’s blender and ordered this right away. It arrived quickly and fit perfectly.

*update, I order a second time, and got a completely different one. Didn't fit.I ordered from other sellers, however had to return them. Finally, these are the ones. I have the newer beehive heritage model, which has fit the rings I found in older models when thrifting. These have a tight seal and no leaks. The black ring on previous orders has the blade also. The ring was not designed correctly and did not fit. These screw on easy. I now have extra blades and rings so I can prepare my drinks ahead in mason ball jars. In the morning, I just pop them on blend and go.
