I got the purple 7" shers about 2 years ago and they are still the best ones that I have gotten. I've tried other brands but I always end up going back to using the first set that I bought which are these ones. I love how comfy they fit in my had and how versatile the curved shers are. I can hold them both ways and still get the results that I always look for.

It is $20a pair to get scissors sharpened here. It is $40 to get this set. I can buy a new set of these every 2-3 months and always have sharp shears. They cut nicely/blend nicely too.

Works very nice trimming my dogs.

I'm a professional dog groomer and bought this set mainly for the chunker/thinners. They cut pretty well. I like that the curves are able to be held from either side. I do recommend oiling and checking the tightness of the blades before use. I had to loosen my straights and curves. Also cheaper sets like this tend to only be able to be sharpened a couple times before needing to be replaced. Keep that in mind when buying. But these are affordable and good for beginners that don't want to spend a lot of money on a set of shears. They can be a little uncomfortable to hold if you don't have finger inserts.

Comb came in missing teeth but overall 7/10 . Use these as back up when my main shears are getting sharpened.They get the job done in the meantime.

I liked these shears when I first got them. It took a while to adjust and you do need to clean and oil often ( they squeak, feel hard, takes a toll on the carpal tunnel ). You pay for what you get and they aren't too bad for the price. My favorite were the chunkers, since I use them all the time I do need to have them sharpen but it has been about 6 months or so. It was still a great buy.

Really nice looking set for the price, case is nice and scissors cut well, so far so good. Chunkers did a good job shaping round butt/legs and fading from sides to stomach. Photo included of my handy work on my dorky dog lol.

After reading reviews I wasn't 100% certain that these scissors would be the ones for me, but I've already used them and they did a great job. I ordered the blue and love the colour. Everything was sharp. I was a little concerned about not being able to get my fingers through the holes, as I don't consider myself to have skinny fingers, but didn't have an issue. They're plenty big enough, but I like to position my scissors closer to the tips of my fingers. If you like to push your fingers further through, then the hole size might be a problem. All in all, they did a great job on my dogs and I'm very happy with my purchase.
